Costco Optical Department

This is the worst optical department! Customer service is incredibly unhelpful and they are so rude like many others have references here. They're not knowledgeable at all. I don't understand the good reviews - typically, if you see a bad review and an immediate five star review, the five star review is fake! The positive references to the person named Trudy are probably her family because She has a lot of attitude and acts like you're bothering her! Sorry you don't like your job. They do a terrible job making glasses too they are never right. People have reference to loose lens that will happen! They will be rude and unhelpful when you have to go back to get it fixed. Disappointing for Costco!

Disappointed to see that so many people had a bad experience- a lady by the name of April helped me and she was very nice! I didn't wait very long before getting my glasses ordered and the pricing was decent- of course it won't beat Zenni but it is half the price of frames at most optometrists' offices. Will update on how long it takes for my glasses to come in.

I had an appointment with Dr. Miranda and she was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend her to everyone!

Last week bought contact lenses and sunglasses from Costco Brookhaven store. Was impressed by the service by the team at the counter. Thanks to Mario for some great recommendations

Very very shady clinic. They will charge you what you won't expect when you walk out of that door. Shame on you Costco

terrible customer service, dumb and rude staff who don't know anything, don't go here. they made me dilate my eyes. when my eyes didn't dilate fast enough, they made me get out of the office to walk around the store twice, which delayed the process of them dilating due to the light, so they could have more space in the office. and got clearly frustrated with me over something that i couldn't control and was required for them. they made me walk around like an unwanted dog. ordering contacts is also a difficult task. DONT GO HERE!!!!!!

I made an appointment for 3/12/25, the optometrist who made my appointment was rude. I called a day before to cancel and they said my appointment was for 3/20/25 and abruptly and rudely hung up on me. This weekend, I kept getting notifications to confirm my appointment for 3/17/25. I'm not going to give this optometrist my business.

Should be zero stars. The staff are super rude and I had the same experience as everyone else did with not being told about a "policy" to require your eyes to be dilated or pay some stupid $45.00 fee. The lady working at the desk said "I have this argument with customers all the time." Well, why don't you save everyone some time and effort and publicize your policies online and tell people before they drive all the way out there? And also, instead of getting into an argument all the time, why don't you think about changing your "policy?"
