America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

The initial appointment was great. Everyone was very helpful. We were able to pick out the glasses we wanted with no issue. The problem came in When they told us, the glasses would be ready in two weeks. two weeks past and we don't hear anything. We have to call to get an update and then they nonchalantly say oh yeah your glasses are ready! Uhh ok! so we let them know we're coming from Waycross and we're gonna make it at like 6:05 they told us they would wait and by the time we made it no one was in the office so we traveled an hour and 15 minutes for no reason all she had to do was say she couldn't wait, but she went out of her way to tell us that she would be there when we made it, and she was not there so that was very upsetting and a waste of our time .

Brought my daughter here for a new pair of glasses. We were greeted immediately and brought to the back room for her eye exam. We did wait about 30 minutes, but they were training new staff so that was understandable. The exam itself took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Pretty decent selection of glasses and she found a pair she liked. All in all we spent an hour here and her new specks will arrive in two weeks. Overall a good experience. Clean facility and friendly staff.

The optometrist was awesome. The office staff not so much. I use clic for my glasses which they don't offer. I needed my pupil distance to order them. They would not give me my pupil distance since I was not purchasing glasses through them. Make sure you ask the optometrist and not the office staff.

When we moved to Brunswick, I went to America's Best because it was closer. The Dr. examined my eyes and gave me a new prescription. I ordered 2 new pairs of glasses before leaving and I ordered my contacts somewhere else. My eyes were off with the new prescription. I took my glasses back a few days after getting them because I couldn't see good out of them. They sent them off to be redone, saying where I actually look through the glasses were off with my eyes. When I got them back, it wasn't better, but they didn't see anything else wrong and I thought it was just me. For a year, I just couldn't see good. I'd have to put readers on with my contacts in and put my glasses on top of my head and put things close to my face to read. I decided to go back to my original doctor that is about 45 minutes away and told her what was going on. I took my box of contacts with the prescription from this place on them and they took my glasses to get the prescription from my glasses. She examined my eyes and said my prescription hadn't changed from when she last saw me! The prescription from the contacts and glasses that was given to me by their doctor was way too strong for my eyes! I was relieved to find out that nothing serious was wrong with my eyes, but I wasted money on 2 pairs of glasses and two contact orders and have been miserable for the past year wondering what was going on with my eyes! I learned today that just because something is more convenient doesn't mean it is better!

Taylor,Ersie, and Courtney excellent customer service they helped through the process made me feel comfortable with it. It was my first eye exam but they made it a great experience.

First time trying here since I relocated. Don't worry it sucked. The older white lady was rude to literally everyone she talked to. Even her coworkers. While waiting for our appointment we heard her getting rude and getting called out with her coworkers. She was rude to us too. Fast forward to glasses pick up, my spouse didn't even have the frames they picked out. It was something totally different. She just acted like it was whatever and gave no indication she was going to correct it. We had to firmly affirm those frames wernt going to work for us and get it. Now here we are waiting 2 more weeks. Even when I was checking in for our appointments initially I saw someone arrive to pick their glasses up and it wasn't her correct frames either and the same lady did the same thing to her. Just kind of shrugged and said no that's what you got. What???

Its bad experience and I wastage my time & Money ....... Staff talk like lawyer and put there mistake on me and other staff and asking extra money to rectify it....... I feel cheated on technology term, they are professional and its there duty to understand costumers need but they just go by line and no smile of feel on face. May you have better experience .......

I came to this Americas Best and was extremely satisfied. Everything was smooth and the staff was superior. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted and helped. Ms. Taylor did my pre-screening and was the right dose of sunshine for a morning appointment! Very cheerful! I then seen Dr. Akbar who was quick, thorough, and kind himself. And Ms. Ersie was managing several calls while managing other tasks and still able to keep a calm and professional manner. The team is working together very well and over all the appointment was a success.
