Optometry Clinic (located in the Xchange)

Switched from an off post clinic to this clinic and had a great experience. Dr Stewart (and everyone else in the office) were friendly and the Dr. took his time! I was seen quickly and actually felt like I was being listened to and taken seriously which is rare these days.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Doctor was great and took time to explain exam and answered all questions I had!

Walked in to check this place out for information. This Optometry Clinic, eye doctor's office, is next to The Vista Optical who order all my glasses and contacts since 2009. ( who are AWESOME!) in the Ft. Moore Exchange Mall. The Optometry Clinic is a seperate business from the Vista Optical and both are in the Exchange Mall near the food court. I had some questions for the staff and found out The Optometry Clinic has a new Eye Doctor/owner, Dr. Michael. They also have new staff. Dr. Michael comes to us from Ft. Eisenhower in Augusta. He seems knowledgeable and his eye exams are thorough as per patients that were there. His staff is well trained, very organized, polite, and knowledgeable as well. They are prepared for all your eye exam and contact lens exam needs. I asked because I wear eyeglasses & contacts too. Dr. Michael also comes from a military family. He understands the military life and needs of military families. Highly recommend them so far. Update: Dr. Michael now has another eye physician working with him allowing more availability of appointments. His name is Dr. Stewart . He was a former Army Optometrist from Ft Moore for several years and has decided to live here with his family. I have several friends who have been examined by him over the years and he is VERY, VERY good, knowledgeable Optometrist. NOTE: When I hit their webpage it takes me to an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BUSINESS. I suspect that it's the prior owners webpage?!. Dr. Michael is working on getting that updated to include photos.

Took my Army Widowed, 91 year old Momma to see the Eye Doctor here. Dr. Stewart was great with my mother during her exam. Mom is up there & a bit slow but Dr. Stewart was very thorough and handled Mom like his own. They even took her Medicare and Tricare for life. Thanks to them I can order her some glasses. Next up for an eye exam, ME!

The staff is amazing and so sweet and Dr. Stewart is awesome and so attentive. 10/10 definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed. They are great!

I have taken my teenage daughter here and I had an appt a week later. Very nice staff! I would definitely return here vs the optical clinic at Martin Army Community Hospital also on base, which makes you show up 15 min early and told me there would be a 2+ hr wait! Just because you have to wait hours does not mean the care is better. The care at the Optometry Care inside the PX is awesome! You are seen on time, treated kindly, and the exam is thorough.

The staff is amazing here. I needed different contacts, and the refit me and helped me find the right fit. When I came in to pick them up, Brittany and Kimberly was there and they helped me to try them on and ensure perfection! I have found my optometry clinic. So wonderful here!

We have been going to this clinic for 3 years Appears doctors turn over frequently. Wife had an exam in July 2021, a portion of the exam was conducted by a teenager and a young boy. I guess they were well qualified. Will not use this clinic again.
