Dr. Helwig made me and my wife feel at home. Felt like I was in my living room getting an eye exam. Super laid back guy , & very professional at the same time. Highly recommend for anyone in need of glasses or contacts. Great selection , wonderful staff , very knowledgeable, and far exceeds expectations. I will not go anywhere else. Dr. Helwig is incredibly kind, thorough and professional; my vision has never been clearer! The entire staff is amazing--so friendly and helpful with picking out glasses. The ladies in the office are amazing at assisting with with choosing glasses and helping with insurance details. It's not just a place to get your eyes checked they are like family!

I didn't have an appointment when I walked in with a very severe corneal abrasion. The front desk staff went above and beyond to take care of me and put me in line to be seen by Dr.Helwig. When it was my turn, he greeted me like we were old friends. He took one look at me and got right down to business. Very professional and thorough, made me comfortable from the beginning. Later that evening, he personally sent a text to ask how I was doing. Checking on me. WOW! I didn't think Dr's actually cared after the initial visit. Told me things I could use in between my medications for comfort. Not only is he an amazing eye Dr. Highly recommended!! He's easy on the eyes too.

My husband and I have been getting our eyes examined (wellness check) by Dr Helwig every year or two for more than ten years. We stay with Dr Helwig because he is very knowledgeable, thorough, communicates clearly and is honest. We'll be back to see him again and would definitely recommend him.
