Thomas Eye Group

This was my 1st visit and I was very impressed by the check in procedure and the Technician Nyeshia was very friendly and knowledgeable! I love Dr Augustus Stephens bedside manner. He displayed and gave me excellent medical advice and explained everything regarding my condition where I understood what was going on with my left eye. The check in and check out staff was very nice and informative! I'm looking forward to seeing Dr Augustus Stephens for my follow up and the rest of the office staff! Great job everyone!

So apparently there was a bad review left for you guys in my namesake. First let me apologize, any occurrence that may have transpired that was of an unsatisfactory nature im sure was out of you all control. My doctor is very knowledgeable, that check in process has gotten much faster, and the surgery scheduling department woman is always very helpful as well as very knowledgeable. Again, my apologies for any past sentiments expressed.

The staff was very professional and helpful. The office was busy with many patients, however, my wait time did not exceed 10 minutes. I was pleased with this wait time! Dr. Melton was awesome and amazing. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. She took her time with me. She listened to my concerns and addressed them. This was my first visit to the Thomas Eye Group. However, it will not be my last one! This will be my ophthalmology office going forward! Great visit!!!

I am so glad that I came back to Thomas Eye Group. The whole experience was wonderful. My contact fitter, Lyn was amazing, professional and compassionate. She made sure I could see out of my contacts Lyn even sat me back in the exam room to make sure I had what I needed. Lyn was not only helping me she jumped in the help others when the staff was on break. My doctor Jung Lee Soo was awesome as well, she made sure that I was comfortable and could see out of my contacts and glasses. She is very friendly and compassionate as well. I would recommend this office to everyone needing any type of eye procedures.

My visit today went extensively well. The young man, who is new to the facility, was very cordial. Dr. Barry was also very informative. She explained what I needed for subsequent visits. I must say that in the past I have spent up to four hours in the facility. They have improved immensely. Today, my visit was about ninety minutes. Can't begin to tell you how pleased I was. I've been going to the optometrist for over 50 years. My experience with Dr. Melton and Asst. Honesty was the best eye appointment ever! Professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel valued as a patient. Don't promote them (they might be moved to diff. location), but do increase their salaries! They're part of the reason I'll recommend TEG to others, and why I will keep coming back!

Everyone that my mother, Lizzie and I encountered today (1-29-26) were SUPER FANTASTIC! Lennzie, Dr. Lee, and Michael in the glasses department were very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent in their field of service. They made our day much better. To the point, I, Yolanda, have considered them providing optometry services for me. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Recommendations are on the horizon!

First time at Thomas Eye Group and I AM SOOO HAPPY I WENT to say the least! Walked in and immediately was greeted by one of the ladies at the front desk (my apologies for not getting your name, first desk on the left as you walk in) very professional and friendly. The check in process is absolutely easy and no paperwork. I walked to the optical area to look at glasses and met Michael. As I walked in he greeted me but he was busy and asked if he could help. I said yes, but I can wait until you are finished. Michael immediately put up the paperwork and said, "I'm finished" with a smile, again shocked to say the least because I have never experienced such service. We spoke and Michael just left me speechless with the way I was treated, Just speechless... So, then I get called in for my eye test and I meet Nico. Nico was also super friendly, professional, always a smile on his face, Nico explained every single test he was going to do. I have been to a few eye places and the staff hardly looks at you, lol. So then I meet honey, SAME!!! Then I meet Doctor Melton. I am thinking this Doctor is going to be stuck up like the rest but I have lots of questions. (Like most doctor's do, walk in, ask how can I help you, say I will be right back and you never see them again. I DID NOT HAVE TO ASK ANYTHING! Doctor Melton was more like a mother explaining the different types of options and how each option would work, ect. Doctor Melton did all the testing with such patience, she did not rush me at all during each test, and explained every step. I then go back to the eye glasses section and now I meet Kianty. Kianty assisted me in picking my eye glasses as if we were besties hanging out at the mall and never stopped smiling and very professional! Sooooooooooooooo, if you are looking for an eye doctor because you went to an America's Best Eye what ever it is (I just did prior to this) THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Now I understand why the waiting area was so packed but there is no wait because they have several doctor's at the office seeing patients. Give them a try!! Thank you guys, cant wait to get my glasses!
