I have been going to this clinic for probably over ten years. My experience has always been pleasant, even with new doctors and staff throughout time.
Dr. Sol, the assistants, the kind woman helping with check ins, Spencer, and Derek are all really great. I didn't catch the name of the young lady who helped me before Dr. Sol saw me, but she was very kind and knowledgeable. Derek was also incredibly kind and personable when I came in last minute one day.
Spencer was very friendly, considerate, and helpful when checking out my new glasses. He helped me to select the best frames and was patient and clear in explaining things. I hope they all get the recognition they deserve.
I love that the clinic has a selection for everyone and different budgets. I especially love the value pack section where frames are $50, or $100 when including my prescription lenses.

I just had my 2nd Annual Diabetic Eye Exam, a specialized exam that falls under Medical Insurance, and not the usual Vision Insurance. I am very impressed with Marietta Eye Clinic because it is obvious that they are up-to-date on the latest technological protocols, equipment, and processes. Also, they are very efficient with the transitions to different "stations" depending on what specific exams I was there for. The biggest plus, though, is the staff - each member seems genuinely pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend!

My appointment was on 2/18/26 at the Canton Rd location. I was a new patient for Dr. Sara Netter because my previous doctor was no longer with that location. The technician was courteous and efficient. The office personnel who checked me out was excellent...she discovered an error in my file and corrected it. I waited in the room more than 25 minutes for the doctor. She entered, told me her name and just began the eye exam. She did not acknowledge me as her new patient, did not make me feel welcome and was in the room less than 5 minutes. I requested another doctor for my future visits, if I continue with MEC.

Being in the healthcare biz, I am familiar with common customer service techniques that are taught- and I did not see them both times I saw two different opthalmologists. I was glad to get an appointment quickly and have my problem addressed. They see a lot of people here and move them through quickly. I waited in total over an hour to see a doc for about 5 minutes. The staff are nice and friendly. But the docs need a primer in customer service. Introduce yourself, greet the patient. The visit was rushed, the docs were robotic. That said, I understand how the system works- they see high volumes- and I felt like a number. I do believe they are competent- If you don't mind a rushed, impersonal visit.

I would not use Marietta Eye Clinic, in particular Dr Wilkins. I had a failed surgery , having paid for a corrective for all distances. A second surgery was done and my vision is still poor. 2 surgeries, over a year in follow up appointments andI'm back where I started. At times my vision was so bad I thought I had become blind in that eye and couldn't drive or work. I was not refunded the lens that was miscalculated in my eye, which cost thousands of dollars. I am Extremely disappointed as I had been a patient there for over 30 years. I was offered free glasses as a consolation.
