Worst ever experience with an eye doctor. They gave me the wrong prescription! The doctor charted the correct prescription, but the computer printed out the wrong prescription. Not an older prescription of mine - an entirely incorrect prescription. I got glasses made off this prescription and could not see well. They made me queasy and the floor was in the wrong place. They refused to get me in for a recheck appointment within my return window for the glasses. They insisted I had to see the same doctor and he was out of town, so I had to return the glasses before my appointment, which made it difficult to assess the issue. I never dreamed the prescription was for the wrong person. I thought maybe they were too strong or maybe the glasses were too curved. When I could finally get in for my recheck, I left with a weaker prescription under the assumption the original was too strong. When I got home, I realized how different the 2nd prescription was from the first, so I called. That's when they realized they had given me the wrong prescription at my first visit. Then, instead of profusely apologizing and working to make things right, they acted like I was a bother that they just wanted to go away. I only got a weak apology after complaining about the lack of apology. I wanted to be sure I was getting the correct prescription now, since it was my last opportunity with the lense company to get a remake. They told me to just use the one they gave me the 2nd time, which wasn't right because it was weaker since we wrongly thought the first was too strong. So, finally, after some arguing, they sent me the original one I should have received. But the astigmatism was different on this one from the new one, so I wanted to be sure I used the best option and asked for clarification. They acted like I was a bother for trying to get a clear answer. After all this, I felt like I should get a refund as this whole thing delayed me by months and was a huge hassle. They refused, saying "We don't give refunds for services rendered." No concerns for the time and money spent getting the wrong lenses made! As a small business owner myself, I am just stunned by the lack of responsibility and accountability. They should have apologized sincerely and worked hard to make it right. (Their email apology was: "We apologize for the back and forth regarding your spectacle prescription and the remaking of your glasses." They couldn't even directly apologize for printing the wrong prescription!) I could have forgiven the initial mistake if they would have shown real remorse and worked for a complete and painless resolution. All of this could have been avoided: 1. If the doctor had told me the prescription numbers during the exam or remarked how it gotten a lot stronger since my last prescription, I would have realized the error right away, before I even left the first visit. 2. If they would have agreed to see me for a recheck within my return window while I still had the glasses, we would have realized then that the lenses were the wrong prescription, which would have made that visit effective vs. just creating more confusion. (I had over a week left in my return window, but they couldn't get me in.) In the end, I was left unsure of what my current prescription really is and completely frustrated. Thankfully, Costco management did refund my money, but that came from the store itself, not the doctor's office. From what I could tell, they weren't even cooperative with Costco... Costco management knows how to give a real apology and make things right with their customers. Dr. Park's office should take some lessons from Costco.
We've been seeing Dr Park for a few years now. He's very thorough and kind. He listens and answers questions.
Dr. Park was great! The office staff were exceptionally bad in my case. I went for an exam for new contact lenses on May 2. They did not have a trial pair (I wear daily disposable lenses) of the Kirkland brand in the office, so they offered to order some and gave me a trial pair of another brand. I called several times in the weeks after the exam to check if the Kirkland brand trial pairs had come in and was told each time that they had not arrived and that I would get a call when they came in. I ordered a box of the other brand a couple of weeks after the appointment so that I would not run out of lenses. On July 31, I got a voicemail that the Kirkland brand had come in (90 days after the appointment). I went to pick them up today (Aug 5; five days after the voicemail), and was told they had thrown them away because I did not pick them up by the weekend. What? I waited 90 days for a trial pair, and then the office staff waited 2 days to throw them out? I went back through my voicemails to see if I missed something, but can find no record of a call before July 31! I am extremely disappointed and cannot recommend this office. We will continue to use the eyeglasses center in Costco, because we love the service and prices, but will go somewhere else for the exam and prescription!
Dr. Park always does such a great job with my exams. I've tried many other optometrists and Dr. Park is the absolute best!
I have been going here for a couple of years now and I love it! They answer all my concerns and are so sweet whenever I come in.
From the moment I walked in until I left, my visit was outstanding. The entire team exhibited exceptional warmth and professionalism. Dr. Park conducted a comprehensive and educational examination, patiently addressing all my concerns. The facility was impeccably maintained and featured state-of-the-art equipment. In summary, this practice delivers superior eye care and client service. I wholeheartedly endorse them for anyone seeking top-quality eye care services.
Pleasant office and staff, located just inside Costco. Easy to make an appointment. A bonus is that instead of having your eyes dilated and you walk around for hours unable to see, you may pay an additional $40 to have it digitized. I find it well worth it. All in all, I would recommend this place for anyone to visit.
