Georgia Eye Institute

Called at 8am this morning so I can have my eye drops refilled. The lady I spoke with had a nasty attitude and made it seem like I was bothering her. I am constantly met with an attitude when I call. I go to pick up the eye drops on my lunch break and they never sent in the prescription. I don't understand how hard it is to do your job but maybe you should find another one. Hopefully my eye heals all the way so I NEVER have to deal with this treatment again

I started going to GA Eye when I was a kid and continued once I moved back here as an adult. I was just charged an additional $135 to get retested because they gave me an inaccurate prescription. I was utterly baffled. Also, if you are paying cash, they upcharge you $75 (they call it a "deposit") to be seen. I will not be returning, and I suggest other people look at other practices.

Doctor Overstreet is very knowledgeable and answers any questions you may have. Explains very thoroughly.

(Update) I have been going to Dr Reeves for years. In fact his dad was my childhood eye doctor. The office's ability to measure and create the correct refraction for my progressive lenses in my glasses is poor. The first glasses lense was not great and the narrow field of vision was off. I had new lenses made with a wider field of vision and this second pair of glasses is even worse than the last. I can't see distance out of my right eye. And reading out of right eye is blurry, too. Left lense is fine! If you need eye surgery, I assume this office if ok. If you need progressive lenses and refraction- go somewhere else . I will be insisting on a full refund. 800 dollars for horrible lenses ! I feel cheated and angry! Oh- and if I have another receptionist tell me to wait and give my eyes time to adjust, I may just scream. No- not really scream, but come on! I had to breathe and count to ten. My left lense is fine! Crystal clear!!! My right lense is super blurry. Please don't tell me I had a refraction a few weeks ago. I know. I was there. So insulting.

Very rude and unprofessional office especially the practice manager. They filed my medical insurance instead of my vision insurance for an eye exam. So them the pervious year for an eye infection. So the office want me to pay$215 for their mistake instead of paying $10 with vision insurance. Tried to talk to PM and she was very rude and unprofessional.

I've been here twice and both experiences were great with Dr. Overstreet. Service is quick and the staff is extremely friendly. One staff member in particular was extremely kind and empathetic; her name was Jordan. I've never written a review before but her service was so amazing that I felt that it was necessary. We often make reviews for complaints but I wanted to praise this office and the staff. I will be returning and recommending this office to others.

Yvonne I think that's her name was absolutely rude on the phone!!! Horrible customer service...she wasn't listening to me which was evident in her response to my questions. She gave me two separate and different answers to my questions and acted like I was bothering her!!! I understand why this office is rated 2.8/5!!!!

Doctors don't listen... Complained about dry eyes.. itching and burning sensation. Vision changes.. brushed off as if it was all a figured of my imagination.. was recently diagnosed with lupus... Now in search of a doctor that will listen.. will never go there again
