If you find the need for cataract surgery, look no further than Dr. Mark Manocha's Opthalmology practice at Georgia Eye Institute. The staff ( special shout out to tech Ronnie for his exceptional care and clearly dedicated work ethic) works seamlessly to support the remarkable work Dr. Manocha has been called to do. Pre-surgery care was clear and comprehensive; post-op and follow up the same. I am a very satisfied client and on top of that, I now have 20/20 vision!

You would think they would actually take care of their customers better! I have macular degeneration also my glasses broke so in December I called to see if I could get in so I could get new script for glasses because I am blind without them. So they set my appt for March 20th 2026 was the earliest I could get in so I said I will take it. Got a letter Feb 19th that my eye appt needs to be rescheduled from March 20th 2026 to another date. Called to reschedule and she said I can fit you in for February 26th 2026 but of course I couldn't because I have an appt that day so she continued to tell me well the next appt will be in Nov. of this year I said nm can you schedule me for my Macular Degeneration doctor Dr . King she said not without a referral! Really?! He is my specialist and I have to get a referral from another doctor? What is going on with this place?! It's obvious that either the Doctors don't care or they don't know what is going on in this place. Dr. Boland that I used before I switched NEVER scheduled that far back nor did I have to deal with referrals. Am I REALLY ASKING TO MUCH?! Dr. Seddona at Tufts I hope you see this!

Had received via text message a pre checkin on phone. Was realitively easy to fill out. Once we arrived for appt just had to give our name to check in. Waiting area was full and we had to sit in the overflow waiting area. Was thinking we would be there forever...but we were called back quick considering they were full. Once in the back the dr came in and we were seen in timely manner. Procedure was completed and we were on our way. Statesboro location was great to us as always. My bf has to have a shot in his eye monthly...so we are regulars...the staff is always extremely friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable. We love the Statesboro location as it is close to our home. The staff is the same foe their Savannah location also. We have had to go to the Savannah location a few times. It is as efficient as the Statesboro location. THANK YOU for making our appts pleasant. How likes having to get injections in your eye? With your knowledge and your patience it is durable....every month!!

I have received wonderful and thorough care through GA Eye Institute. Also note worthy: the front desk staff is exceptionally fantastic. Not only do they know how to resolve problems and refer people to the right spots, but they are professional and fast. Lauren put out numerous "fires" during the 20 min I was in the waiting room, including diffusing a rather belligerent man who missed his appointment the previous day. I'll continue coming here based on fabulous opthalmologist service, attentive staff, and accurate eye checkups.

I called yesterday to make an appointment for an eye examination and was told by the scheduler that nothing could be done without insurance and she never heard of my plan. I checked with my provider and we are indeed in network with them. I called back today and started to explain and the line went dead. I assumed that it was a dropped call. So I called a second time and the line went dead as soon as the other party picked up. So I called for a third time and was by a recording that option 1, scheduling, was not available to me. I am guessing that I have been blocked. Without a doubt this is rudest experience that I have ever had with a health care provider. I went someplace else with a more courteous staff.

I have to find a new eye doctor now because they keep on billing me for $50. I don't know I've been going through this for 7 years that I've been going there. I've talked to Dr Deich about it and last year he got it off the bill and then two months ago or three months ago they instead of bill me $45 which was the original charge. They put $50 back on my bill. Now they banned me from appointments they won't let me talk to Dr Deich. They had a billing room call me back. This is the way they treat people they are terrible human beings that work for really nice doctors and now I don't know how I'm gonna find a new doctor. I'm so interesting if Eye doctors have to be misdiagnosed with glaucoma. My insurance pays every other bill 100% but it will not pay this $50 because they know they're not supposed to be filling it for me because I've never asked for it. I use an ophthalmologist I shouldn't have to get optometry with it. Why do they force me to get something? I don't want and pay $50 that I don't know. They're the only doctor that I go to the charges made this my insurance Iglaucoma. My insurance pays every other bill 100% but it will not pay this $50 because they know they're not supposed to be filling it for me because I've never asked for it. I use a ophthalmologist I shouldn't have to get optometry with it. Why do they force me to get something? I don't want and pay $50 that I don't owe. They're the only Dr that I go to the charges made this my insurance I pay fortune for it and they won't take it 100%. They want to get me for this $50 every freaking time. Well let me tell you you could keep your $50 OK and I guess I have to find a new doctor because I don't know what happens in Hippocratic oath but I'm sure the staff are doing away with it because the staff of these doctors they don't give a shit about their cut their customers and the doctors just don't care that their disappear. Such lack of caring is terrible and they should be ashamed of themselves over $50. They block me from talking to my Dr and from the management staff awful awful place

Worst scheduling service ever. Made appt in early December and late March was the earliest available. Get a letter in late Feb saying doctor will not be in office and we need to reschedule. Next available was June and receptionist was very obnoxious! The schedulers for your business are the face of your business, not at all polite or professional.

Made an appt due to my eyes were blurry after having cataract surgery earlier this year. I drive to savannah, from statesboro(1hr) to find that I'm have to pay 150.00 for appt. I have medical and vision insurance, but I am told they don't cover this type of appointment. So..THANK YOU for letting me know before I came and wasted my time. Its really sad that a person's pays for both health and vision insurance and still can't get seen when they have problems from a surgery they performed. What are we to do? BE BLIND? NOT happy with this entire situation.
