Freeman Eye Care

UPDATE: THEY NO LONGER ACCEPT MEDICAID. I love Dr. Shear! I saw him today and the service was great! The wait time wasn't bad either. He was quick and thorough, answering my questions confidently! My children see Dr. Freeman and they like him, too! I'd recommend him everyone!

I love this office for my Son. Our appointment's are always in and out. I love Dr.Freeman. He is patient and very professional with dealing with a toddler. They always answer all of my questions and if anything has been changed with our Insurance they let us know ahead of time. I would recommend him to anyone. Unfortunately he doesn't accept our insurance anymore, but that doesn't affect him professionally either.

It was a very disconcerting experience to say the least. I called the office and specifically asked for an appointment with Dr. Shear. My appointment was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. I also received a text from the office confirming my appointment with Dr. Shear. I arrived fifteen minutes early. I completed the paperwork and made my payment; which was a requirement before seeing the doctor. When I met the person (presumable) a doctor. I knew that he was not Dr. Shear. I told him that he was not Dr. Shear and that my appointment was with Dr. Shear. The entire personnel took advantage of me because I was ill and needed medical attention. It was an unprofessional, shady move which forced me to be examined by someone they chose. They took away my autonomy! Then, he asked me if I did not want to see him. How condescending! I should have been given that choice when I made my appointment. They knew what I wanted and disrespectfully declined to comply. Withstanding the above I cancelled my appointment to return on Friday for plugs to be inserted into my tear ducts. He provided no information about the procedure or about the side effects. It is my guess that the person who attended to me was Dr. Freeman since he never told me his name. Shear and Freeman. He must be Freeman.

I saw Dr. Patton yesterday for the first time and felt so comfortable with her. I must admit that after relocating from New York I was not sure if I would find a good "eye doctor" out here. She is pleasant, answers my questions and very thorough. I found my new doctor. Great staff as well!

Dr. Freeman and Dr. Shear are both excellent physicians. The office staff is very professional and nice. Service is great. Never experienced long wait time. The environment s welcoming and relaxing. I enjoy my visits.

Doctor Shear is wonderful to my child! Very professional and understanding. He listens and understands my concerns! He is very genuine and I would recommend him to anybody. I will continue to use him!

Dr. Shear is wonderful. He took the time to really listen to my concerns, do a thorough exam & provided me with the answers & care that I was so desperately seeking. I'm still under his care currently & I'm more than positive that I'm in good hands here.

So me n my son have gone here for a while and my son has eye problems like with them crossing and what not needless to say dr shear couldn't help my son anymore and referred him to an office in Fayetteville turns out my son needs surgery to correct his eyes and dr sheer gave him the WRONG PRESCRIPTION which ended up making his eyes worse! Do not go here people I don't care how many good reviews he has he never spent much time with us and was very rushed with us I will be calling Monday to give him a piece of my mind!!!! Would of gave no stars
