I had such a great experience with Dr. McLemore at Island Girl Eye Care! This was my first eye exam as an adult--I hadn't been to the eye doctor since I was a kid--so I was a little nervous and unsure of what to expect. Dr. McLemore was incredibly thorough, patient, and kind. She made me feel completely comfortable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and helped me pick out my very first pair of glasses. I really appreciated how helpful and attentive she was throughout the entire process. Highly recommend for anyone, especially first-timers like me!

It's been a long time since I've been to see an eye doctor and was feeling a little anxious about going again. I'm such a baby about things touching my eyes lol. But I had the best experience with Dr. McLemore and would 100000% recommend seeing her! She is so easy to talk to and makes you feel so at home. It hardly felt like an appointment and more like catching up with a friend! She was super professional though, the office was very clean, and when I left I really felt heard in regards to my eye concerns. She's very responsive over email and the appointment was very simple to schedule online! I would see her again without hesitation!

A couple years back I was a nightmare client and really indecisive about frames and lenses. Liz recommended these cool black frames, due to their life time warranty, and jumped through hoops to get the lenses that suited me. Good call! Recently the frame developed a stress crack near the left side hinge, where I grab to take off, and put on, my glasses. I emailed Liz about the warranty. She told me she would take care of it. I took my glasses to the shop and she swapped the frames out for new ones in the store. A few minutes later I walked out with essentially a new pair! Awesome! Liz an awesome, fun, and cool lady with an adorable dog. She's always very professional and responsive with emails. I definitely recommend her if you're looking for an optometrist.

Dr. Liz is amazing ! She is so accommodating and always willing to help you get the best fit with contacts or glasses. She always gives you all your options and informs you of the best deals and bang for your buck. As a one woman show, she runs her business so smoothly and you would never know she was doing it all on her own! 10/10 recommend !

I had my eye appointment at Island Girl with Dr. McLemore and it was an amazing experience from the start. Had a very quick response from her email scheduling my appointment that same week, to having the best direction and parking instructions on her website and had the best patient care while in her office! Checking in was a breeze with her and the eye exam was very thorough, she explained everything very clearly & I loved that she sent me home with different contacts to try before committing to certain ones. Love Love Love.! I definitely recommend her for any eye care you may need!

Dr. McLemore is by far the best optometrist I have ever seen. She has state of the art technology that went beyond a normal eye exam. Her dog is so sweet! She grabbed so many pairs for me to try on and just was really an extraordinary experience. Very happy to have found her! Thank you so much
