I've had a chronic eye condition for 20 years. Not once in my time with Dr. Parhiz did he attempt any alternative treatments aside from steroids. When, in fact, another medication that only cost $5 a month could have helped significantly. In addition, I have never not been treated like a piece of meat in this office. I am a low income person, and sometimes I don't have insurance. if i have to minimize my visits for financial reason, I'm chastised and treated briskly. At this point, I'd rather let the eye go blind than interact with this clinic ever again.

Everyone at the center was so nice and made me feel relaxed because I didn't know what to expect. I went through the procedures of tests, eyedrops and dilated eyes. I waited in a dark room with other very nice patients. Then I saw the doctor and he was very nice as was the sweet nurse. I got my injection and the next day I am able to see better. I am so grateful. Thank God there are treatments for my issue. It takes a while of waiting but it is so worth it because my eyesight is priceless.

Very busy office Dr. PARHIZ HAS TREATED ME ME FOR MY RETINOPATHY for over two years now. He's a terrific doctor and my visits are always a pleasure.

This place is an eye (treatment) farm. Be warned! Be prepared to arrive at your appointment time and wait for at least an hour to as much as 2hrs to be seen. The office manager and staff have no remorse for their inadequacies involving scheduling and refuse to accommodate the patients needs, period. I engaged the staff regarding their inability to adhere to scheduling and was met with sarcasm and maltreatment. I am an executive at a hospital so I understand medical necessity and demand. Although, if I made my patients wait for two hours for an office-scheduled appointment, it wouldn't be long before the hospital wouldn't have any. People schedule appointments so they can accommodate that appointment into their schedule, because they have obligations as well. Although, it is apparent that this facility and its practitioner have a case of "I have the operations tempo to sustain my practice and lifestyle and that equates to patients, and he couldn't care less if they are treated fairly, seen to promptly, and/or satisfied or not. It is evident the position at Idaho Retina Center is, "if they don't like it go somewhere else", and frankly that is not the place or the people I want conducting surgical procedures on my eyes. I honestly suggest you contact your medical and insurance providers and seek treatment somewhere where they value you for more than your wallet and your insurance. The position offered here took place over 10 months of treatment, the account offered below was an every visit occurrence. It was this particular day that I deemed, "enough was enough." And I was not the only one this day that left or considered leaving. Every visit patrons expressed disappointment and frustration from this facility. I hope you are not subjected to the same treatment. It would do this facility some good to shed some of the patronage they don't value nor respect.

What a great experience ! From coming thru the front doors till you leave ! The employees are awesome an you leave feeling like you was treated as you was the only one there !!!! I'd give them 10 stars but there's only 5 to click on

Dr. Parhiz is one of the busiest and yet kindest doctors I know. I never feel like I am not important to him or his staff. After getting a second opinion from a doctor in Salt Lake 2 years ago when I was diagnosed, I have since always felt confident I am receiving the best care possible right here in Boise. Dr. Parhiz is knowledgeable, patient and very good at his job!

I love being taken care of by Dr. Parhiz and his fabulous care team. This is a well functioning office where the staff is engaging and make sure patients are quickly brought into the examination or treatment process. Thanks to his years of experience, Dr Parhiz has corrected a significant vision problem and has restored almost all of the vision I'd lost. Don't know the technical names, but I know this, Dr. Parhiz is a master at his craft and I am grateful he chose to practice in Boise. I recommend him without reservation.

I was given a same day appointment for someone's cancellation which I appreciated. That is the extent of good things I have to say about this clinic. I was seen for less than 5 minutes and given no time to ask questions or voice concerns. It was a Friday and I was told surgery would by Monday and I would be face down for two weeks which logistically was impossible with work, son. Etc. We were then given a billing sheet that was incomplete we were asked to sign for surgery even though they didn't know the cost of anesthesia. We are self pay so it's a big deal to have an itemized list. I let them know I would get back to them after I got a second opinion. A couple weeks later I got a letter in the mail stating they had attempted to contact me multiple times, which is completely false and they would be dropping me as a patient soon. They also stated they included a release of information form to seek other care and all it was was a blank sheet of paper with their business header on it. I have now sought a second opinion and it went much better and surgery is scheduled. Would not go back.
