Incredible Experience!! Dr. Hollingshead did my LASIK procedure 23/24 YEARS ago. I have had absolutely no issues and have absolutely loved the freedom of having perfect vision. I was told back then, that after 15yrs I would most likely need an enhancement or do the procedure again, Lasik only lasted about 15 yrs.. I made it 24yrs and I'm just now looking to get it redone. I wouldn't go to anyone else but Dr. Hollingshead. With medical advancements they have today, I may never need to get it redone.

When I went to get an eyeglass prescription, after the exam was done, I was told there was a $70 charge for the prescription. I've never been charged for a prescription. I'm allowed one eye exam a year on my insurance, so the only way to get a new pair of glasses is to private pay for the exam. I refuse to pay $70 for a prescription that should be included in the exam. Beware when using Hollingshead Eye Center.

The staff was absolutely amazing and incredibly nice and caring which is the only reason why I'm giving three instead of one. I went in November my eyesight has only progressively gotten worse at a faster rate than before in my life. I was seen by Dr. Wolfe for a glaucoma diagnosis and was referred to him by my optometrist, who I've seen for years and knows my history very well. I've never been this concerned about my vision until last year as it was going downhill at a considerably faster rate and was experiencing more problems than any previous years. When I was finally seen by him to get checked out, he kept mentioning how young I am and thats its more than likely just irregular shaping of the nerves (I was 20 years old at the time and although it's rare for someone my age to develop it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen nor can it happen. Also already knew i had irregularity for my nerves, that wasnt a concern and was also noted in my file if he had actual read it and would of shown all the tests i have to take every 6 months to make sure it doesnt worsen or progress.) I was so nervous and anxious the only thing I was able to mention was the fact that it's been a concern my optometrists have had for years and it wasn't until recently that their have been changes so drastic and concerning. I wish I could of spoken up for myself more but in all honesty, I am so incredibly upset and angry that I wasn't taken seriously for something as serious as what I went in for from the moment he walked in and saw me, he had it in his head that because I was so young that he didn't believe that I was dealing with something that's typically an older person's eye disease. My vision is still depleting at such a rate that it's affecting both my personal and professional life.

Disturbing misdiagnosis!! I went to Dr Hollingshead for a second opinion. In the appointment there was another person he was directing my diagnosis to. I was trying to hear what he was saying. I have better hearing in my left ear & turned my head that direction to hear what he was saying. Dr Hollingshead determined my eye problems were due to a stroke on my left side because I turned my head to try hear what he was saying. I have never had a stroke!! Now this misdiagnosed report has been distributed to all my medical records. I feel this was totally unethical & unprofessional.

So grateful Dr Wolffe was on call when I had my retina emergency! Great kind and professional manner! Very thorough and explained things well. His tech Eric , his assistant, and the front desk ladies were wonderful.

The staff at Hollingshead head are great! Dr Hollingshead himself is so nice. They got me in when I needed and listened to my million of questions and calmed my fears. I would recommend them to everyone I know for lasik! I'm so happy with my experience and was treated so very well. I love my new eyes!!

Uncertain of what to expect and nothing to compare it to. This 5 star was based upon recommendation and overall experience. Every single staff member made each visit a pleasant experience. At no point did I encounter any staff that appeared not to enjoy their job. Would I recommend? YES

Hollingshead eye surgery does not have a firm grasp on reality. Their bottom line is the almighty dollar. Not the patients best interest
