Sam's Club Optical Center

Staff at optical center was just alright.....but the doctor was epic! The Doctor Eddie Lawando is the best doctor I have spoken too for more than 15 years in this area , He is elegant, kind , very friendly, informative, knowledgeable, just top of the line , I felt amazing and very comfortable during the test . I Definitely recommend him too anyone that is looking for the highest quality medical exam on your eyes possible with many beneficial tips for your eyes health . Thank You . God Bless !

The ophthalmologist is amazing, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly, and he puts his client's interests first. When bought glasses, I was never informed that the cost was an estimate. Later I received a bill for an additional 20% of the amount already paid. The quality of the glasses was terrible and I felt my older glasses were just fine or even better and more comfortable. I decided to return the glasses. The return process was such a pain, the manager and assistant didn't know what to do at their end. I was refunded the amount I paid but they didn't contact the billing office to clear the 20% portion of the cost. It has been more than 2 months and the issue is still not resolved as I continue to receive statements. Today the billing agent from the billing office tried to call the center via conference call with me on the line, Elizabeth refused to give her name at first and then hung up. The agent had me call back, and she still refused to give her name until she got my name, date of birth, and address. The billing office agent Josh was very courteous, and patient, and went above and beyond to get the needed information and try to resolve the issue. I hope it will be resolved soon. In summary, if you need an eyeglasses prescription, you will have a good experience with the ophthalmologist, otherwise, purchasing eyeglasses from there was a disappointing experience of dealing with arrogant and rude staff.

Dr Eddie Lawando was fantastic!!! I've never seen better through my glasses and contacts than I have with the prescription he gave me. He took his time and was very thorough. The staff are all very nice also. Highly recommend!

One of the best optical departments I've ever visited! Kelley was an absolute gem. She was patient, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me find my prescription at another Sam's Club location. Don't lose her! She's the reason I come back!
