America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Don't go there. The manager is very rude. Our insurance pay for the contact trail. My son was new contact person and that time he had hard time putting contact so we bought the their brand last year. This year, we went for the eye exam, doctor ask us to try different brand but the store manager was extremely rude and ask us to buy it before any trail. Let me tell you insurance is paying for the trail exam but the store has their rule. This is fraud.

Let me start with saying I am a fan of America's Best overall, I have went to several of their stores throughout the years and was always happy with Service and Pricing. Went into the Bloomingdale store looking for Frames for my sons Prescription, was greated with kindness and asked if we needed any help. I told them we are looking for frames that my son likes, they said look around and let us know if you need any help. We started looking and my son found a pair he really liked. We asked for help and had a wonderful experience, Dawn the G.M. helped us, she was amazing, she was so nice and helpful. She helped guide use through the lens selection process helping keep our spend down and even applied a discount we qualified for that I didn't know about. We only wanted one pair as my son could find one he liked, she explained we had 30 day to use the discount for the second pair and recommend going online to see if he could find something else he liked. This America's Best under Dawn's leadership was a terrific experience, I highly recommend this place, we walked out very happy, even my 14 year old son commented to me as we walked back to the car how nice they were.

Last week I came into Americas Best, Before hand I was communicating with the receptionist Lisa, who was so nice over the phone and even more pleasant in person. I will definitely be recommending Americas Best to my friends and family.

Chrystal is fantastic! She answered all of my questions. She definitely knows her stuff. I'm completely confident in her advice and recommendations. And Natalie, receptionist is perfect.

The staff is so friendly and patient. Good selection of glasses at various price points.

I have been coming here with my family for a few years now. They were in our optical insurance network. I've always had wonderful customer service. I never really took the time to write a review until Crystal and Taaha wowed me! I called to order new disposable daily contacts. I talked to Crystal on the phone. We bonded over the dry eye struggle (it's real, lol!!). She was so helpful, I thought I would ask her a couple questions about my glasses. I've always hated my newest pair of glasses. They never stayed on my nose. The arm was simply too short. Yes, I picked them out. Yes, I dealt with them for almost a year... I didn't understand until Crystal explained and looked up the warranty that I could exchange them. You're my hero girl, thank you! I came in today, and Taaha was super helpful. He took the time to show me the number on the sticker of the glasses that explain the length of the arm. So now I will never buy what I called 'kid glasses' again! He also made me feel better about my lovely (large as it may be ;) head. Bahaha The exchange took seconds! I can't believe I waited so long. Just great customer service all around. Thank you all!

The ladies who were working there during my visit were so lovely! Irene and Trisha were so helpful when I wasn't sure which frames to pick and were so sweet the whole time

tldr: sales people are sneaky, management is rude. The doctor on staff was pleasant, I got an exam and glasses for my son. They added optional warranties without asking or telling me about the charge, make sure to look over your receipt for extra charges that they don't tell you about! It felt sneaky and when I called about it they said they always tell everyone and are very transparent when I had just experienced the opposite (not helpful when the management lies, is annoyed with you and hangs up on you). I asked for a refund on the extras and its been a few days, hopefully it shows up on my card (original transaction is there) or I will be denying the entire charge and not picking my order up.
