Nuccio Optometrists

I did not like this guy. He made some weird comments on my ethnicity and assumed I was not an American which I am. I had told him my mom saw his years ago and he seemed like he could care less. Would not recommend if you are not white.

Dr. Nuccio & Dr. Blinstrup are the best! Their kindness, professionalism, and warm demeanor make every visit a positive experience. They take the time to listen, thoroughly answer questions, and ensure you feel confident about your eye health. Their expertise is evident, and their generosity and genuine care truly set them apart. Plus, they're always mindful of both your time and budget, which is so appreciated. Highly recommend!

Wonderful practice. Everyone was so welcoming to me as a new patient. Dr. Blinstrip was thorough in my eye exam. Explained in detail how progressive lenses work and the benefits of them. The assistant was very helpful and patient with me as I selected new designed frames. Had such a great experience here I made an appointment for my son for the following week.

Trisha was very polite and helpful. I didn't know what my vision insurance was so she helped me with that. Dr. was very thorough with the exam after I got glasses with Natalia who was very knowledgeable with my insurance and made sure I'd get the best bang for my buck. I would recommend them to others.

I have been coming to Dr Nuccio since 1999 - 20 years! I move all over the US for my work, but I always fly back to see Dr Nuccio--he is the only one I trust with my eyesight. I have bad astigmatism and therefore hard to fit for contact lenses. When everyone else said my eyes are too bad for contacts, Dr Nuccio has been fitting me perfectly for 20 years. Prices are fair and he also has a great sense of humor! I highly recommend.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. I never had a problem until the last few years. As someone who works full time and goes to school full time, it was also so hard to try to make an appointment. Their hours are crazy. The past few years it felt like I was not being properly taken care. My prescription always felt off. My eyes were also strained and tired. I recently went to a new doctor and I found out they were over prescribing my vision. Dr. Nuccio had me at a -3.50, I am really a -2.50. When expressing concerns about my contacts, they made me feel like I was wrong for what I wanted and they always try to put me in for the most expensive. Asking for a written prescription for contacts or glasses felt like pulling teeth. The quality of the practice has drastically gone down hill. I will not be returning.

Great experience at Nuccio Optometrists! Dr. B is very professional, felt like I was in good care! Shoutout to Natalie she is my favorite gal in the office!! Will keep returning.

I just want to let people know about the poor service I received from Nuccio Optometrists in Bloomingdale. I bought a deal for an exam and credit for glasses on LivingSocial. The exam was great but they wouldn't let me used my old frames with the credit for my new glasses. The selection of frames at a decent price was very poor so I chose to have the glasses made somewhere else. When I got my new glasses they were not correct. I went back to Nuccio and after about 2 minutes they gave me a new prescription. It was immediately obvious that sloppy writing on the original prescription caused the glasses to be made wrong. Nuccio denied any responsibility since they hadn't made the glasses themselves. They refused to remake the bad lens or to give me any money towards remaking it. I was out extra $120 because they have bad hand writing. Don't go to Nuccio Optometrists unless you want expensive glasses.
