Pearle Vision

Kiara was great with my testing & post exam glasses & contacts order. Dr. Blackett was also great. Stepped me through some information he found with my right eye. Took the time to make sure I understood & was comfortable with what it meant. Both are highly recommended.

Dr. Galinka and Kiara not only provided excellent care, they were such gems! Dr. Galinka taught me stuff about my contacts that in the 7 years I've been wearing the same prescription, I didn't even know! Kiara provided amazing style advice and made sure I left with an order for glasses I was sure to be happy with. Very happy with my experience here!

Kiara was extremely helpful, honest & patient with the frame buying process and had such a lovely personality. She even pointed out some additional insurance coupons to help me maximize my benefits. 10/10, would definitely visit their location again :)

This has been the best experience I've had for my vision exam. The doctor was very informative on helping me understand the changes in my vision and shared with me any signs I should be aware of. Debbie is phenomenal. She was so warm and welcoming on arrival and thoroughly explained to me the benefits of my insurance, options for my glasses and helped me get the best deal for my new frames. Thank you to everyone at Pearle Vision in Old Town for helping me get my new year started with clear vision ahead!

Update: Sep. 6, 2025. We had our check up and it was great as always. Our eye doctors here were good, Dr. Todd Hungerford, & Dr. Vidulich. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Debbie as if we were a friend visiting their home, Vertrice and the rest of the staff were always nice and friendly. My only concern at this visit was the patient portal that was sent to me via email. It was in a different name (Melrose Park eye doctor), It freaked me out!, I thought it was a scam email, and made me uncomfortable to click the link because I've Never been or had my eye appointment at that company, It's always Pearle Vision. So, I had to asked the PV staff (in person,) if this "Melrose Park etc." portal was associated with them. It is, However, I will definitely forget to check this portal as the name is never been familiar to me for my eye doctor, I've never been there! Pearle Vision is easy to remember for me, also for organization when I search my email for eye appointment, I always search Pearle Vision not any eye doctor place I've never been. Just saying. 2023 Review: This eye clinic is fully renovated. They have new modern technology equipments to check your eyes. They have vast selections of good, fashionable, affordable, eyeglasses and sunglasses available for you. Dr. Hungerford is an expert in his profession, very informative too and nice, General Manager Debbie was nice and friendly same as the retail supervisors Delilah, and Vertrice. They're both good in what they do and super helpful. Delilah has a same taste of mine when it comes with eyeglasses so she was very helpful when I was picking a new one for me. We enjoyed our visit here. Thank you guys for a great service. Keep it up.

Doctor Hungerford and Kiara went above and beyond to ensure I received the right diagnosis and to ensure I was confident and my selection. The entire office was welcoming from the moment I walked in. But my team aid me specifically since I had not worn contacts over 6years. They was very patient and friendly and went great length as I was scared at 1st attempting to get my contact in and out of my eyes. @Kiara showed me alternative ways and share few laughs with the staff. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you team!!!!
