Great experience at Moda!!! From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and accommodating. The office is clean, modern and equipped with the most modern equipment. Dr McCarthy walked me through my examination along with her findings, explaining the next course of treatment. She made sure that I felt heard and that all of my questions were answered. If you are looking for a new optometrist or if you didn't know you needed a new optometrist, give Dr McCarthy and Moda Eyecare a try, you will not be disappointed! Their selection of frames is second to none! The only hard part is picking a single pair! I have found my forever optometrist!!!

Visiting from out of town and I sustained an eye injury. I called at 4:30p and they were able to fit me in on the same day! Not only that, the care I received was waaaay more than 5 stars. Maureen was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. She definitely put my nervous mind at ease while I waited. Dr. McCarthy knew exactly where to start and what to do for my care. She gave me options and her recommendation without forcing me into a box. Maureen even followed up with me when they couldn't get ahold of the pharmacy I had requested my prescription be sent to and had a suggestion ready to go! If I lived in the area, Moda EyeCare would be my optometrist.

From when I call to make my appointment, to paying my copay, every single experience I've had with this establishment has been a positive one. The staff is responsive, knowledgeable, and tentative. The vibe is modern but classic. The selection is grand and yet still I feel personally taken care of and attended to. I'm glad I found them a while back and you can bet I'm staying. - Update: My husband had an appointment. He was so impressed by the staff and care they gave to him. He also commented about how comfortable and impressive they office is. He hadn't been to an eye doctor in decades, and he was so grateful for the steps they took to take care of him. He left feeling happy and satisfied for choosing such a great establishment with fantastic staff! 5 stars again. Highly recommended!

I have been seeing Dr. McCarthy for over 10 years. She is very knowledgeable about what she does. I am very pleased with her contacts lens technology knowledge, especially for those with the complex visual needs. The doctor and her staff are professional and just awesome!

Dr. McCarthy is very thorough and has helped me with some challenging eye issues. She's knowledgeable, resourceful and very good at what she does. I moved over an hour away and still turn to her for her expertise and guidance.

Great experience with Dr. McCarthy for a new patient eye exam. Her office is easy to find in downtown Clarendon Hills with ample street parking. Her staff was attentive and caring. Dr. McCarthy reviewed my history and explained some details about my eye health with care and attention to detail. I'd highly recommend Moda EyeCare.

Moda Eyecare is a great place to have your eyes examined by a very professional person. Mariana is very thorough at what does and she doesn't rush you. If you are in need of glasses and are having a hard time deciding which pair to get they will help you out. A thumbs up for this one.
