Oak Park Eye Center

Yesterday, I visited Oak Park Eye Center due to a request to reschedule my previously arranged appointment. Upon arrival, I found the door locked, possibly due to a break. However, a courteous gentleman, whom I later discovered to be a doctor, kindly opened the door for me. He invited me to take a seat and consulted with the receptionist, who promptly and cheerfully adjusted my appointment to a more for them convenient date. This experience reminded me of my time in the U.S. Army, where I encountered soldiers who were adept at swiftly resolving issues. I have always valued this quality. I anticipate that my upcoming visit will be similarly pleasant and efficient. I will share my impressions in a subsequent post.

Dr. Rojas always provides great care with the utmost compassion. He explains everything in detail and is very thorough. I was visiting the area and got an abrasion and they were able to get me an appointment right away. Highly recommend this practice for all of your eye care needs.

I'm not sure why everyone is complaining about this place being bad and the like. From 2009 thru 2015, Dr. Noble did a wonderful job on my eyes! Almost 9 years later, I'll be returning back to go see Dr. Rojas since Dr. Noble retired in 2022. Thank you Oak Park Eye Center! July 21, 2025 edit: although Dr. Rojas did a wonderful job on my eyes, I won't be back there anymore only because they were charging me $25 for a prescription and even though I paid it but I think this is outrageous! This was back in October of 2024 and I'm sure other doctors wouldn't do it, but since I found out through my father that he was charged for a prescription and how they did it to me, I'm going somewhere else. I could go back if they change the rules for the pricing of prescription of glasses. Nice doctor, but I don't like some of the rules, have a wonderful day!

Love this office!! I decided to give them a try for my eye care needs. I appreciate a place where they greet you as you walk in and everyone acknowledge me with a warm Hello! Dr. Hennessey was really detailed. My whole experience was great. I will definitely be coming back and recommending my family and friends. Thank you Dr. and all his staff.

I was happy with the service in person, the nurse and doctors are very good. But when i call the lady who speak Spanish was not nice, she was talking to me very hard in a loud voice, i was disappointed because i like the place and the doctors, it's hard to find somewhere were you feel comfortable. I think they should give some costumer service classes to their employees specifically front desk. We need doctors and they need pato, there is no reason to be rude with the us.

I highly reccomend Dr. Hennesey. I don't know why there are so many complaints about this place. My son and I both go here for our appointments and have never had a problem, waited or treated rude. I scratched my cornea and they were fantastic in treating me. When othey eye doctors said they couldn't squeeze me in they did right away. Now we drive from the far Northside all the way here because they are that good! He is a very caring doctor and he is very thorough in his exams. His assistant and older women is the best! She takes her time and you can tell she really is passionate about her job and happy working there. Employee moral says a lot about a company. Ignore the reviews go there.

I was very happy with the services that I received. The nurse was great. Knew her stuff very well, very nice and informative. Dr was also very pleasant. Just looked at my eye and knew right away what to do. They even recommended a specialist I need to see next. Im self pay and I did not think it was expensive like some people here do. It is a doctors office after all. :-) I would go back.

Dr. Noble staff is the worst service they give. Dr. Noble have seen my daughter for almost 14 years. I drove to her office today for 45 to 50 minutes drive her dumb staff tells me that she doesn't take my insurance. Very unprofessional I seems that she doesn't see that all insurance have change since obamacare they should verify first before they have the patience drive almost an hour drive to tell them that specially in front of other patience. Dr. Noble didn't have the courage to see me and apologize for her stupid and dumb receptionist. Please if you are a low income person thy have insurance from the state please don't go and see her she doesn't see poor people.
