Sounds like we have some Karen's in this review(male or female) the doctor is amazing and receptionists are quirky. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful always. They're thorough and patient but they like to joke. It's friendly atmosphere and my whole family absolutely loves them

I've been a loyal patient for over 25 years. I entrusted my eyesight to Dr. Garreffa's care and have never left disappointed. His ability to correctly analyze eye issues is is accurate and very reassuring. The level of personal care is above exceptional. My eyes are an integral part in treating my own patients as a practicing dentist. I will not go anywhere else. The exemplary level of personalized care has never waivered over the past quarter of a century. I also recommend him to my patients as well because I know they will have the same stellar experience as I have. Leslie's ability to help select the best eyeglass frame for us is always honest and accurate. Fran has taken care of the paperwork efficiently and accurately. I could go anywhere anytime... I'm always heading only to Forest Park Eye Care.

Outstanding! Dr. Garreffa is knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to answer my questions and make sure I'm comfortable. Office staff are friendly and responsive to messages left after hours. Would highly recommend to anyone who is fed up with Rosin's.

I've read the reviews here and I must say they are not reflective of this business as a whole. I've been going to FPEC for almost 10 years so I think I can speak to the business better than those with just one experience. I feel that FPEC has been unfairly judged! The office staff (who have been the same the entire time I have been a patient) are exceptionally kind, patient and professional. I appreciate that the staff is not constantly changing. These women have gone the extra mile for me SO many times. Whether it's changing specifics of an order, insurance, appointment times.. they are always incredibly patient. I find the expectation that some reviewers have of super sugar sweet conversation unreasonable. I don't think these reviewers would have had the same reaction if the same interactions happened with a male staffer.. FPEC office staff are exceptional at doing their job, which is to help patients. Doctor Garreffa is the best optometrist I've had in the 20+ years I've needed one. His eye exams are incredibly thorough. He was so patient in helping me find contacts for my unbelievably sensitive eyes and allowed me try many different options until I found the perfect ones. This process that ended up taking months. I don't know of another doctor would allow this. At FPEC it's not just about getting patients in and out - they truly care about the well-being of their patients. Thank you for your hard work and please know that you have many patients that truly appreciate it!

Dr. Gareffa is an extremely kind and patient professional, who has clearly remained interested in his profession. If you are looking for an OD who will allow you to actively participate in your own treatment, who will consider your input and responses to changes in prescriptions and brands, I would highly recommend him.

Dr. GARREFFA is a professional, thorough very knowledgeable eye doctor with a great "bedside" manner. I never feel rushed for my appointments or my daughter's, and we've received excellent care from him. His staff is also professional, helpful and very kind. Highly recommend Forest Park Eye Care.

As several other reviewers have noted, the woman working reception is seriously rude. I made a mistake scheduling a follow up appointment. She scolded me like I was unwanted step child or something. I asked what i needed to do to correct it, she just scolded me again! She's so unpleasant I decided to start over again with a different optometrist.

Very detailed and thorough. Takes time with each patient. Clearly enjoys his profession. Am thrilled with my bifocal contacts, a much better solution than one-near, one-far. He took the time to get them right!!
