My daughters and I had a wonderful experience at this optical clinic! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and very professional. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The eye exam was thorough, and the doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions without rushing. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for professional, friendly, and reliable eye care!

I recently visited AccuVISION in Gurnee for an eye exam. For the past 6-7 years I've been going to VisionWorks, but this year I decided to try a different clinic to see how the experience would be. The exam itself was fine, but my experience with the front desk staff was not great. The receptionists came across as unfriendly, and the interaction didn't feel very welcoming. I was also told that my receipt would be emailed to me after the appointment, but I never received it. I had to call the office later to request it. When I followed up, the conversation on the phone also felt somewhat dismissive. It may not have been intentional, but the overall customer service experience could definitely be improved. I hope the management at this location looks into this, because better communication and a more courteous approach from the front desk staff would make a big difference for patients.

I have been a customer at Accuvision for many years. Kim is the office manager and ensures a great selection of frames. She has always gone above and beyond to assist me. She is very experienced and knowledgeable. I depend on her to help me select frames that look best on me. Kim's cheerful attitude makes the experience so much fun. Her advice has been invaluable. I have referred friends that have loved working with Kim just as much as I do. Every one of my experiences with Kim has exceeded my expectations!

Very happy with the doctor and staff in the Gurnee office. They took the time to give me the best experience with great results. Kim is amazing to work with, listened to my requests and did a great job of getting eye-ware that works for me. I highly recommend this office!

I also appreciate your time to explain and maximize my vision benefits each year. My experience with AccuVISION was FANTASTIC!! Went in for new glasses and the Dr and everyone else I worked with were great. Great selection of glasses and the friendly staff made my day.

One okay year of service. This year not so much. I had an eye exam on October 2,2025. I ordered a years supply of contacts, which is what I did last year. Usually I receive a receipt via email but did not. I was told a 4-6 weeks for my contacts to be sent to me. No prob. Come December I notice I have officially run out of contacts and never received my new order. Double check and have no receipt emailed to me either (which I did last year after my exam at the same location). No biggie but... this is over $500 in eye exams and contacts. Customer service makes a huge difference. This year the front desk worker who checked me out also seemed too busy/bothered to give their full attention. I contacted and left a message at Accuvision Gurnee over a week ago. No call back. Still no contacts and no receipt. You'd think you'd at least follow up when a customer calls to check in. I will be working on getting a physical copy of my receipt and my prescription.Mistakes and slight overlooks are okay. Not acknowledging a call/complaint is not. Obviously will go somewhere else from now on

I gone to this establishment for YEARS, Love the doctors have no issues with them very professional. BUT I am never coming back here again. Seems like they changed their receptionist in the past years or so. I had my yearly eye appointment and I had to reschedule. The lady that answered was so rude like I was giving her the biggest inconvenience and put me on hold for the longest time. I know who that lady is because of her voice and she was the only rude person I knew about there. Well last week when I went to my eye appointment everyone was so rude. I was ready to walk out but I am so busy I just pushed through. The guy asked for my health insurance which I was confused why which is different from my vision insurance which I told him. He didnt like that I question him and rudely told me because they had a policy change so they require our health insurance information. I would've gladly gave it to him if he started of saying hey we changed our policy can you provide us with your health insurance card instead of just randomly asking for it. Since that happened from then on he continued being rude. Then you have the lady who had previously answered my phone call and another lady just snickering in the back and gossiping to each other. Overall that I do know my child was being hard to deal with because she kept crying the whole time but the guy straight up told us to come back another day to pick new glasses because we were dealing with a situation and are busy. I am 100% sure they were tired of hearing her cry so they wanted us to leave. Thanks! But I am never coming back here to get glasses with my family members. Letting my parents know too since they glasses here as well.
