Dr. Rachael A. Greenberg, MD

My husband was seen by Dr. Greenberg after we received an ophthalmology referral by Northwestern Immediate care, who had also given him prescriptions for a stye and said he may need it drained. We first met with a very kind and thorough tech and went though the history of his eye injury and his medial treatment for this injury , along with his mediation allergies, Dr. Greenberg came into the room and diagnosed him without even an much as looking at his eye and rushed through the visit without even reviewing his chart, intake, or asking him any questions. She nearly prescribed an antibiotic that he is allergic to (because she didn't bother to read his chart) until we interrupted and re-stated the allergy. Her bedside manner was cold, rushed and extremely dismissive. I would not recommend seeing Dr. Greenberg, especially in an emergency.

Dr Rachel Greenburg saved my eye many years ago! Due to a car accident! She and all the other eye specialists are the best! I can never thank her enough! She knows her stuff, and she will always do her very best to get you well!

Dr. Rachael Greenberg is the rudest doctor I've ever seen. She spent exactly 1 minute with me. Granted, I had a very simple diagnosis. She came in like a whirling dervish and left the same way. Made me feel like I was nothing. Like not even a person. She has no emotion. Never looked at me, except to look in my eye. I thought maybe it was because it was such a simple diagnosis, so since she was close, I took my 89 year old mother to her. She treated her the same way. My mother couldn't even keep up with this doctors instructions. She was rude and impatient with her. We won't go back.

I went in to get my eye recheck and I took the paperwork to somewhere else to get my glasses lenses made and I couldn't see out of them. I re made the appointment and Dr Rachel said no change that my prescription is the same as previously ones are made. I went somewhere else to get my glasses lenses and made and I gave the other eye Dr office both my glasses and I get told they my prescription is completely off compare to my old glasses. My old lenses are a higher prescription compare to My new glasses. Never coming back here again.

So disappointed, seen Dr Greenberg, she is very cold, rushing through the appointment, she was with me basically just few minutes, doesn't answer questions. Waste of my time and money . Overall will not come back or recommend her.

Was forced to pay $312 for a routine eye exam for my daughter because Dr Greenberg does not accept vision insurance. I should have been told this upfront.

They asked me to be there 15 min early then called me in 30 minutes past my appointment time with no acknowledgement of the wait. The exam was hasty, didn't feel like I was important.
