going to look elsewhere after being a client for 20 years. Different doctor it seems for every visit, looks like they are looking elsewhere also. They make it very hard lately to do business with them.

The eye Dr and her assistant were absolutely amazing. Wonderful customer service and a pleasure. Cindy at the front desk could stand to learn some of these traits. Her customer service was horrible. She was absolutely rude to not only my wife and I but also her fellow employees. Her body language was beyond bad. These reasons stemming because lack of knowledge at her job. We came in with knowledge of both of our insurances as we have 2. This lady didn't even put both insurances in and still charged us x amount. She was very rude to her fellow employee who was trying to help. The sad part is they work a lot with the older demographic . Hopefully Cindy isn't pulling this on those customers. before going in make sure you know your benefits and what you will be paying out of pocket. Would have gave 5 stars if not for Cindy and her lack of knowledge and disrespectful mouth.

From the first phone call making an appt with Cindy I felt this was the place for my mom. She was very nice, professional and caring. Most of all they all listened. I could tell Yuni was very considerate and proficient in her communication to Dr. Clair about my mom's concerns. Dr. Clair was patient and explained everything meticulously. The entire office staff was top notch from beginning to end.

Great service, super friendly staff. BEWARE 1. They close for lunch and there is no note of that anywhere, but the removable sign on the door said starting at noon and the end time seems to be random. 2. You need to make an appointment for every visit, even for a pickup.

I have been the patient of this Doctor for almost last 20 years. The service by the staff was amazing. The staff (particularly, Rackel and Sylvia)and of course, Dr. Reinglass himself always understand the urgency and concerns of the patient. By giving an immediate appointment and a thorough eye exam by Dr. Reinglass is very appreciated. I have and will always continue to refer my friends

I have been going to the Eye Care Center of Lake County since I was a teen. Although many of the staff I knew have retired, the new ones are thoughtful, respectful and knowledgeable. Special thank you for a great visit to Dr. Claire, Cendy at the front desk and Yuni the eye technician.

I will never use them again, there is a world of difference from my first visit with them in 2016. I do understand covid has changed some things, however the receptionist automatically assumed that I could not pay for my visit. She told me multiple times that it would be very expensive and offered the name and number of another doctor that was even further away than Gurnee. When I went there for the visit my complaints were ignored, but I had only been to this eye doctor in this area for my eye condition, so I went ahead with the appointment, the eye doctor I saw was very pleasant and knowledgeable about my eye condition, that was the highlight of the visit. I was called the next day saying they forgot to charge me for a service while i was there so they had to charge me an additional $59 for, they gave me a discount of 10 dollars because it was their mistake. I was told that I should expect my contacts in a week, it has been 2 weeks and I call this morning to see if they were in because I had not received a call about a delay or anything either way. I find that low and behold the contacts have just arrived today. Yippppeeee!!!! I was told that I could pick them up today at 2, then told to hold on to be transferred back to the receptionist to schedule an appointment to come back in a week to see how they are fitting, I asked if the fitting needed to be checked beforehand. Get to the rude receptionist who then transfers me back to optical to be told he wasn't exactly sure if I needed to be checked for the fit because of my eye condition. He asked to call me back. Ok sure. The rude receptionist ends up calling me back to tell me that the doctor has to check the fit, but I can't come in today , I have to come in tomorrow and I can't pick up the contacts today, I have to have the fitting all at one time. I really will never come back here after this experience I have paid close to $900 and received very mediocre service for this price. I will be looking into other providers in the area who specialize in my eye condition, cause Eye care center of lake county won't ever get another dime of my money!

Told me they can schedule me unless I pay out of pocket full price because they are in transition between different doctors. (OR) if I have an eye condition they can bill insurance, I won't have to pay. I told them, how Roni know if I have an eye condition if I don't see the doctor??? You understand that why I'm making this appointment. They reply, well you will have to pay out of pocket the. That's the office policy.
