TERRIBLE PLACE DO NOT COME HERE. My husband brought them his BRAND NEW $300 glasses to get the frames readjusted. The lady who fixed them burned the lenses of the glasses and then blamed it on my husband. We called and spoke to the manager and they are insisting it is not their fault. They were in perfect condition when he handed them to the worker and when he got them back they were crazed. I'll show a picture of what they did. They are refusing to fix his glasses! This place needs to be shut down.

Posted a very true and negative review about this location and the most ignorant staff and was told to reach out to the parent company with no avail. Again stay away . Now that I am talking to folks I am told "OMG they did the same thing to me" Total scam. America's Best is NOT what they advertise. Consumer BEWARE. Tricked onto purchasing bifocal lenses. When I got them they were single and useless to me. The so called manager literally smirked in my face and pretty much said so what we don't care. If you want what you thought you were getting you have to give us more money. So dissatisfied beyond belief!

He carried out his duties competently, with warmth and an abundance of enthusiasm. It is with pleasure that I extend sincere appreciation. Thank you for services rendered in a highly satisfactory manner.

Usually I don't have a bad experience at this location but I had to visit due to glasses that broke while cleaning them for a second time. Having the employee rudely explain to me how to remove glasses when I'm in my mid 30s was definitely an experience. Thankfully I went to another employee and was able to easily purchase new glasses. To the woman with the nose ring, I don't know if you're having a bad day but all you had to do was explain the warranty was out so getting new glasses was the way to go. Not telling me I must've slept on my glasses or threw them on the ground so that's why they broke.

Ever since this location lost their manager, things have really gone downhill with customer service. The staff seems unmotivated and unhappy, which says a lot about how the store is being run. I've been coming to this location for years. Staff changes happen, and that's normal -- but the manager who used to run this store was the heart of it. She brought such a positive vibe and made it a welcoming place. You could tell she genuinely cared about both the store and her team, and it showed through the great customer service. I don't know where that manager went, but it's definitely a big loss for this location. Hopefully, they find someone who can bring back that same energy, leadership, and positivity that used to make this place stand out.

I want to shout out to Anthony at the Americas Best store in Hodgkins Illinois. He was very professional very personable. He answered every question that we asked and he was very knowledgeable too. Thank you, Anthony.

For lack of a better word this location is extremely GHETTO and chaotic. If you want to hear inappropriate conversations and phones just ringing and ringing until employees feel like answering, just come to this location. They also never called when mine or my family's glasses were ready for pick up which were separate orders, trial pair was given when i picked up my contacts (who does that),on hold several times and whoever I spoke with sounded like she had no idea what the problem was or how to fix it. I paid for the 3 year eye exam deal UNFORTUNATELY but thankfully I can use it at any location.

This is probably the third time that they have told me that they would call me when my glasses arrived. Guess what? They never called. I just called today to check if they arrived yet and the woman I spoke with (who had the worst attitude possible) told me they arrived on August 11. Nine days ago... Why didn't I get a call like they said I would? My phone number is correct in their system. Absolutely ridiculous.
