Joliet EyeCare Associates: Dr. Tauseef Tahir

I had a great experience with Dr Tauseef Tahir. He is really take the time to explain everything. Making sure all is well and we satisfied. Staff is really great and have very good work attics. I highly recommend Dr. Tahir.

We originally liked the service but this is the second time I drive to the location for a pickup and the drive was done in vain. It's not like I live around the corner. I was told the lenses were ready. I asked if I could come on Tuesday and they said you can come at any time: We arrive and there is a note on the door that they are in lunch from 12 to 2 PM! Why couldn't they mention this when I asked? The first time they said the lenses were ready and when I came, they said there was a glitch and they did not in fact have the lenses! Like I mention, I don't live in the area so this wasted trip is very frustrating. Better communication please.

The Doctor and staff were awesome. They took their time with no rushing or heavy sales pitches on frames or lenses. I'll be going there from now on!!!!

After a month of poor service with 2 other doctors, I sought out a doctor who would listen and help me see again. I was diagnosed with keratosis and Dr. Tahir spent months getting my contacts perfect. His thorough explanations and willingness to listen to me (my eyes were also very dry and hurt) helped me go from frustration and discomfort to seeing perfectly again. You don't need a fancy cornea center or surgery to get help for keratosis, Dr. Tahir listens and clearly knows what he's doing. The staff is great too.

Dr. Tahir is so laid back, easy to talk with, listens, and actually cares. His staff are polite, kind, and knowledgeable. The office is very clean. I'm very happy I found this office. They were reccomended to me by coworkers. Now I reccomend them to family & friends. Highly recommend!

Well I was in 8 days ago for a eye exam was told by Doc he would call me on Monday with my results and it's Saturday the following week. This is the second time this doctor has done this and it is the frigging last, so unprofessional it's staggering. I don't even want to hear from him cause in a year I will pick a professional eye doc, so done with this unprofessional practice, and there are always different staff here everything you go in there. Choose at your own risk here.

Dr. Tahir was the most pleasant and professional eye care professional I've ever had the opportunity to make an appointment with. He was also able to put my prescription into my new Bose Frames! Look up those frames. And look up Dr. Tahir!

Excellent Opthalmologist. You can get a cheap eye exam and some glasses at Walmart or some chain store but they don't go in depth and really take care of your eyes like Dr. Tahir does. For context, I went in because it had been a long time since I got an eye exam from a proper doctor just to renew my contact and glasses prescription. The office staff is friendly and they're knowledgeable. The doctor is very thorough but doesn't just run tests and things just for the sake of having something to bill insurance for. He's a very friendly guy who seems to want to make sure you understand what each test he wants you to do is for and what the results mean. Even for just a routine eye exam for glasses or contacts I trust him more than any other doctor I've seen for those things in twenty years. He has the bedside manner you'd expect when seeing an MD or other specialist in the hospital but he has it just for eye exams. It's great to have a good, independent doctor that isn't running you through assembly line style like Walmart or the chain stores and isn't trying to sweep you out the door while barely listening like you get with large medical groups like Duly. You get in, get what you need, and get treated like a person by a doctor who clearly enjoys what they do. I could not recommend him more. He's great and so is his staff.
