Had my bi-annual check-up appointment with Dr. Jack Cohen last week and he and his staff at the Libertyville office continue to do great work and treat their patients with respect, professionalism, and provide a relaxing environment. From the initial eye exam, review of medications, checking eye pressure, etc. all the way through to seeing Dr. Cohen and his associate to make sure that everything still looks good from the retina surgery performed 5 years ago. Dr. Cohen was thorough and explained things clearly. I know I am in good hands with Dr. Cohen and his practice. Thanks for another great health care experience.

I greatly appreciate the skill education, and expertise of Dr Cohen. He carefully explained about my eye melanoma and the treatment plan, and helped set up necessary future appointments. I was referred to this office after a vision exam at a local eyewear shop. My first visit went okay. Initial screening and drops, wait for them to take effect (about 10-15 min) then a very quick visit with the doctor. Advised to come back in 2 months. I arrived for my appointment today and was seen promptly for the initial screening and drops. At this point I have been waiting at least 50 min for the doctor. Still waiting Very frustrating.

The office is extremely unhelpful. They made me wait 1 month before telling me "we can't see you." They refused to verify insurance info. They rejected my request of paying out of pocket. Utter disgrace for helping the blind and visually impaired. I called another office that LITERALLY scheduled me in 5 minutes.

From the moment my father and I stepped into this office we were treated amazing! From the front desk to Dawn (who my dad loved!) to Jon who took pics of my dads eyes. Everyone is so kind, knowledgeable and respectful. Then steps in Dr Ravage....AMAZING he did a complete thorough exam in which my dad commented that he never had an exam like that before...he looked at everything!! Top notch in my books. My dad is transferring from Florida and Dr Ravage already know everything about my dads condition upon entering the room, it was like we had seen him for years. COMPLETELY IMPRESSED BY THE ENTIRE OFFICE!!! My dad would give Dr Ravage 10 stars. So happy we found this office :)

The office is well run and efficient. Staff is beyond helpful. We went to Dr. Jack Cohen for a second opinion on my Mother's diagnosis of macular degeneration. Dr. Cohen was knowledgeable, kind and caring. He gave us good news: she returned a false diagnosis from the other doctor who apparently was trying to push costly and invasive injections not needed for my Mom's condition.
