Dr Pearlman has diagnosed me with "Blepheritis" which is in incurable condition similar to dandruff on your eyes. When I visited the Dr, I TOLD her that just before I came into her office, I applied my makeup, and put a generous amount of WHITE POWDER on my eyes, covering my eyelashes. This may look like white dandruff under the microscope. She completely dismissed what I JUST TOLD HER. Did not even consider it. I returned to Dr Pearlman a few months later, and told her I followed her advice to care for Blepheritis, which I did not. What I did do, is not apply white powder to my eyes. She told me that I was doing a great job "managing my belepheritis". I actually did nothing, except skip the white powder. My point is, when you TELL a Dr something, and they completely DISMISS what you say, even when it would make really good sense to consider what your patient is telling you....THIS IS NOT A GOOD SIGN. This is not a Doctor I want to see. Thankfully, it was something small and not serious. Dismissive Doctors need to be dismissed.

From start to finish the professionalism and efficiency of Dr. Pearlman's office is excellent. The procedure that I had done was flawless and the follow-up provided by Dr. Pearlman and her staff was outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Pearlman for anyone that is ready for a great experience with a doctor and medical office.

I highly recommend Dr. Julie Pearlman, as the best ophthalmologist in Lake County. Dr. Pearlman diagnosed retina tears and a possible detachment in my left eye (back in early 2020), and was able to quickly refer me to a fantastic (highly regarded) Retina Specialist, Dr. Zac Ravage at Illinois Retina Associates (Skokie & Libertyville), who treated me same day and through subsequent visits.

Dr Pearlman is the best, got my second eye cataract done and the results are great no issues, Dr Pearlman takes great care and explains everything in detail and gives you all the options. I would highly recommend Dr Pearlman.
