Dr Blair performed surgery on my eye in which I can no longer see.
After permanently damaging my eye sight , he said there was nothing he could do to restore my vision.
Do not use this doctor!

They overbook , was there for 2 hrs with my mom. Was put in a room , waited, saw someone, waited some more , this went on and on. Was told appts take 2 hrs. Doctors they have there take that long. (???) Only saw the doctor for a few min, so that's an excuse. Felt like a number. Dr Galasso in Des Plaines was great, in and out in 30 min and he took time with my mom. Libertyville had no organization at all .

If you enjoy sitting in the waiting room for over an hour to see the doctor for 5 minutes- this is it. There was no empathy and zero communication regarding sitting in a waiting room for over an hour while all the people who work there are just standing around...
If you like to see a doctor at your scheduled appointment time in hopes to deal with a serious eye issue- this is not the place for you.

Dr. Blair is an amazing eye doctor who truly cares. I was losing vision in my right eye and was refereed to his practice. I went in 4 days before Christmas and Dr. Blair being the great human he is got me in for emergency eye surgery that day. I do not do well with surgeries let alone having surgery on my eye. His team was very professional, very informative on the procedure and unbelievably nice. Thank you so much.

When I was losing vision in my left eye, my doctor immediately referred me to Retina Consultants. My initial consultation isolated the problem and two days later I met with Dr. Blair for the procedure. While the thought of what needed to be done was daunting, the doctor and staff were excellent. They provided a calming atmosphere and kept me informed as to what was happening every step of the way. I have to go back for at least one more treatment, and I am confident that it will go well thanks to the excellent care I initially received.

Dr. Blair took on our daughter in an emergency situation through Lurie's Children Hospital due to our daughters detached retina caused by Knobloch Syndrome and her normal Doctor being out of the country. I would definetely recommend Dr. Blair as he was so patient with her and knew what he was doing, especially with a rare condition. The staff is fabulous as well.

Dr. Leishman was substituting for Dr. Shapiro. I had never had her work on my eyes before and am always apprehensive about other doctors working on my eyes. However, the experience was good and she and the staff did a good job of ensuring that I was calm and well taken care of.
She took the time to explain some things to me and answer my questions. I would work with her again any time.
