An eye center with warm and professional environment with attentive and wonderful staffs. Dr.Roni Sung, the eye doctor who attended me was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a very precise prescription. And Brandon, the staff who patiently helped with the frame I picked was so great with his thorough explanation on what was an ideal lenses, materials and enhancements suitable for both my diagnosis and lifestyle needs. I was very happy with the services I received with my visit at VisionWorks, a truly commendable eye care center!
My son needed to make a last minute eye exam to utilize our insurance before the end of the year. We called in to see if they had availability and they were able to squeeze us in. We didn't realize how generous that was until we got to the bustling store full of customers. Two of us required an eye exam and we both were accommodated in a timely manner. We were given ample time with the doctor to address our questions and concerns. The staff went through our insurance and explained our benefits through our insurance. Overall, very quick and efficient experience with hospitable staff.
Jose, the manager went above and beyond to make sure my lens was taken care of. It had a scratch plus it was coming apart. He is amazing thank you for your service your due diligence and your patience and professional professionalism.
My partner recommended this branch, for sure she was right. DR LEE , she knows what she is doing. She explained what she was doing and the results of my eye exam, and was very professional. The staff, specially the manager was attentive and made sure we were seen and did not have to wait. Keep up the good work, and thank you for the pleasant experience.
This will be my last visit to this location unless Dr. Simon or Dr. Ngo return. Of all the highs and lows for the past decade, the one thing I could count on was my eye exam. Dr. Roni Sung, who I met for the first time to the most lukewarm introduction, has no clue how to do an exam for someone with astigmatism. In 29 years of wearing contact lenses, I have never had an eye exam this bad.
She was impatient when I asked about the eye puffer and the retina test. Dr. Simon and Dr. Ngo would never ignore me repeatedly saying I'm seeing double vision nor has it ever been an occurrence. She kept showing me fuzzy image after fuzzy image, and then put these weird glasses on me that were equally unhelpful.
Jose did not put down my appointment correctly so maybe she was upset about an appointment she was unprepared for. The lady who handles insurance and the pre-exam was OK but kinda blase. Both seemed more interested in talking to each other versus customers. It was a letdown because a guy named Jose who was there last year was much friendlier. I could have sworn he had hair and was a little younger. He said he was a manager at a different location. This Jose looked different and is bald. I do not believe they are the same people, just same name. I could be wrong. The demeanor is definitely night and day though.
On an up note, the lady who handles payment was an absolute delight. We got off to a rocky start last year because I did not want to do any paperwork if my eyes were dilated. This time, and because my eyes were not dilated (which Dr. Sung snippily told me was unnecessary since I took the retina test although I did not know one was sufficient to replace the other), the last lady (don't know her name but she's my complexion) was friendly, funny and I could have chatted with her all day. She was very kind! Just about everything I expected from this visit was the exact opposite.
I got no trial lenses, not even a discussion about trial lenses, no explanation of double vision, and only got a shrug and a re-order of contact prescription Dr. Simon created last year. I hope these contacts are as good as the ones I'm wearing already. If not, I will be challenging this bill with my insurance company. Hoping for the best since I only need to come here once a year.
The service at Visionworks Lincolnwood Town Center is outstanding and professional! I went there for the first time to update the prescription on some lenses that weren't originally purchased at Visionworks. Frederick assisted me, and he was patient, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. He made sure I got the best value possible with my insurance and lens options.
I'm very impressed with the level of care and customer service -- highly recommend this location to anyone looking for warm, professional, and knowledgeable assistance!
I was able to get a same day appointment for a corneal abrasion. Dr. Roni Sung took great care of me and helped me, she was very nice and I felt like she truly cared. She referred me to an opthalmologist for follow up and am now doing better. Thank you
I had a fantastic experience at VisionWorks! Jose was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He helped me with everything I needed, making my visit both comfortable and efficient. Highly recommend working with him!
