I used to visit this eye doctor for my child's CRT lenses, but it has been three years since our last visit. I'm writing this review now to reflect on our past experience and compare it with how other doctors handle similar situations. Three years ago, my child experienced eye irritation caused by a makeup product and was unable to wear her CRT lenses for three days. The doctor recommended that she wear eyeglasses temporarily during that time. Unfortunately, my child ended up selecting a very expensive pair ; plastic frames made in China under the Banana Republic brand that cost us $450. If I had been present, I would not have approved the purchase, but my husband paid for them on the spot. Next day, I took it to them to get refund but they said no. As expected, the glasses were used for only three days, and once her eyes recovered, she resumed wearing her CRT lenses. Yes, my child made the choice, but as a professional, would you really recommend a 12 year old child wear $450 eyeglasses for just three days without offering any guidance? Looking back, I'm glad we switched to a different eye doctor. A similar situation happened recently, but our new doctor did not suggest buying temporary glasses at all and we were able to manage without them. I understand this is a small business, but patient care should come before profit. You lost not only one customer but also my extended family members who live in the area.

First time visit and absolutely loved it! Never had such care in an eye appointment before. Felt listened to and got to learn new things too. Alex on the front desk was super friendly and bright. Overall an excellent experience and I will be recommending this office to friends and family.

Dr. Roache is terrific! She explains well, demonstrates genuine care, and has such a pleasant manner. That same compassionate care was evident in the staff as well. I'm happy to recommend this location

Staff was super friendly and accommodating, my boys were new patients and they were able to get us in same day. Doc was super sweet and explained everything in detail to me and my boys.

From the minute I walked into the office, until I left the office, I felt warm and welcomed! From the doctor to her well trained assistants I was treated with respect, kept informed of every test they took and the results explained in detail! This was the first time I visited this eye doctor and left feeling well informed and comfortable! That you all!

A great experience. I have lots of experience working at many optometry offices over the years, and I can say with confidence that the doctor and staff here are all wonderful -- very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. The opticians listened to my needs and tailored their recommendations around them. Couldn't be happier!

My wife and I have been going to Dr Surdich-Pitra for a long time. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and explains everything. She lets you know if there is a problem and how to correct it. We totally trust her for our eye care. Also, staff is very courteous and helpful.
