Adam was a great help to me. He took time to explain my benefits to me and go over several options for my lenses and frames. He made my appointment easy and smooth. I am very happy with my glasses and I also had purchased sunglasses as well. I will recommend my eye doctor to my family and friends. Thank you Cindy

Had a great experience! Dr. Corrigan was friendly and informative. She explained to me my contact lenses options and dialed in my vision. Adam was awesome! He helped me understand my insurance benefits and get the max benefit and value out of it! He also took the time to make sure I found the right eye glasses! Overall a super great place with great people!

We had the best experience at MyEyeDr. In Machesney Park. We're new to the area and I saw there was a MyEyeDr. location here. We have a cousin who is a Dr at the Joliet location. I was going to drive all the way to Joliet but took a chance at the Machesney Park location. I have to give a shout out to Adam. He was so helpful and understanding when I told him I had mom guilt that my son has needed glasses for some time now. He was so patient and so amazing with my 7 year old. The staff made this process so smooth from start to finish. We'll definitely be sticking with MyEyeDr. Machesney Park for all my son's eye needs.

I have been a patient here for almost 20 years and have always had great service from the staff and the doctors until this year. I had an appointment on October 11 and they order my trial contact lenses. I was told they would call me when they came in- probably a week to two at most. After 2.5 weeks I called as I had not heard anything. Was told they should be in that Friday-3 days later. Never heard anything. When I called again a week later I was informed by the very rude and unprofessional receptionist that they weren't in and "had received a large order that day but we are understaffed and won't get to it today." They was a week ago and I still have not been called. I WILL NOT be back. Not sure what happened to this place but they clearly need to hire more professional people otherwise I don't imagine this clinic will be around much longer. I work in healthcare so I know how important good reviews are to a doctor's office. Wish I could have left a good one. I will definitely tell my friends and colleagues to steer clear of this place.

This is hands down the most unprofessional medically related office I have visited in my adult life. The lead staff member is obsessed with controlling everyone and everything around her. She makes outrageous and nonsense comments, and refuses to help unless she sees it fit. The staff has private conversations directly in front of you. In our case a coworker walked into the back room, stood between me and my son while he was getting his eyes checked on the machines before seeing the doctor to talk about her private romantic life. She didn't even acknowledge that we were in the room. While we were waiting to see the doctor, another coworker had started to race hate on a random black man, called the police to have him removed! The staff member was sent home and the police laughed when they got there. I could go on but, I just wanted to warn those who were considering going here. The two is for insurance, they take what we have, and the new lady doctor is wonderful. If anyone knows of another job opportunity for her, let her know!

Avoid the Machesney Park Store for MyEyeDr. Their customer service is horrific and rude. We have been going to this store for 20 years. My wife and three (3) kids need glasses and contacts every year and I lukily have great insurance. Therefore we spend on average $4,000 to $5,000 every year. This year we lost a receipt required for insurance flexible spending account and we asked them to email receipt. When trying to email receipt they had issues with their server and wouldn't assist us. The receptionist just was rude and wouldn't help figure out isssue---for instance even acknowledging email we sent to see if their system worked. They hung up on us twice. Basically told us to just come in---we live 45mins away. They didn't even offer to mail us receipt----even talk to us about charging to physcially mail receipt. We couldn't ask those options because they hung up on us. So now our Flexible Spending Account is frozen waiting for receipt with absolutely no customer service willing to help us. That is grattitude for spending $80,000 over 20 years. Good bye and you will no longer get our insurance money.

I am so impressed with the staff here! My daughter walked in today and was extremely nervous so she wore her miraculous LadyBug mask and as soon as we walked in everyone was saying, "Hi Ladybug!" and had her smiling and giggling within seconds. We were listened to and every single staff there today went above and beyond for us. I canceled my eye appointment that I had elsewhere and scheduled with them instead! Thank you to everyone there today, fantastic job! Edit as I have now had my appointment: The staff is still beyond wonderful! I've never had a business go out of their way to make an appointment go so smoothly like they did today. Chris and Adam are so personable and knowledgeable and just all around fantastic as well as Dr. Corrigan.

I hate starring reviews, but office staff were great, store GM and physician were not. I was seeing black with how hunched over she made me sit for my vision exam. Hard to focus on how well I see when my vision is getting splotchy, but she's in too much of a rush for me to answer which slide is better, that she disregarded almost everything I said afterwards. She does a lot of slides in the exam but otherwise doesn't have much better manner than the last physician. She will also discuss appointments with her GM which is probably illegal, so watch yourself.... I'm sure she won't fret about losing me as a patient anyway. I doubt they'll ever answer my email with an insurance question for them to do my lenses or for copies of the paperwork I signed. Go figure, disagreeing with a physician and not making a purchase gets me blacklisted and forced to pester or escalate, to get my own information. I have worked with plenty of people and places like this, it's always the same, why make me fight for this stuff? It's annoying for everyone.... Hm, maybe it'll have just been bad timing with the weekend, I'll update it if they happen to send me what I've asked about.
