My Husband and I come every year since we moved here 6 years ago! Dr. Bochner is the absolute best!!! He is very thorough and provides quality care for our eyes!!! The staff and technicians are awesome and so professional! They have an area where you can select frames and order new glasses!!! I can't tell you how convenient this is for everyone!!! Their Staff is amazing, professional, and very helpful!!! I highly recommend this establishment for all of your eyecare needs!!!

We saw a new provider this time and he was great with my kiddo. We have been patients of MEC for years and have always had a great experience. My only complaint....it would be great if staff who are coughing terribly and complaining of a fever would wear a mask when having to be in such close proximity to patients, especially during flu season. Otherwise, we were and are very pleased.

Check in is mainly pleasant, nurses/ eye assistants are usually in a great mood and very helpful. They'll answer your questions and Dr. Umana is an excellent surgeon and stays on top of your progress, plus he actually stays on top of why you were recommended,so he does the proper work up and stays in contact with what procedures are happening. Waiting time is long at times but it's worth the wait.

After being 1 minute late, the check in person was being a butt. But Dr. Bachner came out and took up for me, as I was crying bcuz we had a fire and lost everything. Dr. Bachner is an Amazing person. I had an urgent eye issue that popped up. I called on Tuesday, Sept 2, when they opened. They were able to get me in that day. The techs who did my initial evaluation and Dr Omar were all top notch. Dr explained to me what was going on and he was very thorough. I recently moved from Joliet and this place ranks above anywhere else I have gone. They were very efficient, I did not wait more than 5-10 minutes. Glad I found this provider.
