From the moment I walked in the door I felt I was being treated with respect and dignity. Any other places that take the state plan just have never treated me that nicely. Sometimes people like myself have worries about going to the doctor - If you need eye care this is the place to go. The doctor at first seemed kind of curt about her medical advice but NEVER rude or condescending. By the end I felt very comfortable with her. Kudos to this center.

Was not told I would have my eyes dilated when I made my appointment. Showed up alone, so I had to drive home [I was told I would be okay when I asked about it]. When I left the building into the bright shining sun, I was blinded. It's a day later and my eyes are still burning. It was my first time with dilation, but THIS IS THEIR JOB! When I need a check-up again in one year I WILL GO ELSEWHERE!! I was not offered sunglasses. The place where I went in the past used modern technology instead of dilation.

My previous eye doctor retired, and I was in need of a refill on my contact lenses, and to see if my prescription has changed in the last year. I made an appointment at the Midwest Eye Center, Mokena, IL location. The tech that does the initial screenings was excellent, but that's where it ends. I was scolded like a dog, by the eye doctor for refusing to allow them to dilate my eyes. I suggested to her, that the lady who takes the appointments should mention this on the phone, so I could've arranged a driver. Doctor insists that they do. Okay, I must be lying. (Most likely mad because she couldn't bill my insurance for an unnecessary test.) Per the Mayo Clinic, eye dilation should only be done, over age 60 (I'm 35), over age 40 for certain ethnic backgrounds (which doesn't include me), or new symptoms or concerns (which I didn't have either). Then.... doctor says $125.00 "fitting fee", then I can get 1 pair of trial lenses, then I come back a 3rd time to order a years' worth. Finally, a 4th visit, to pick up the contacts. She will absolutely NOT give me a hard copy prescription for the contacts. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I've been wearing the same brand of contacts for over a decade, with no issues. Why do feel the need to charge me for a "fitting fee" and then charge me for 2 additional visits??? Needless to say, I got up and left. Insurance fraud at its finest!!! Don't go there, EVER!!!

Very dissatisfied with the service I received. I called this location young lady asked me to hold on I held on the phone over 27 mins. When I express my dissatisfaction with the young lady she said I can hang up and hung the phone up. I would not recommend this eye center to aneyone. Also I'm reaching out to post my dissatisfaction on Facebook.

Website says they're open on Saturday. Not true. Facility is really nice. Good experience. Nice variety of glasses.

I have been coming here for years and have had nothing but a great experience. Everyone is great from the receptionist to the eye doctors.

Nice and Friendly staff. Dilation went well and they offered sunglasses afterwards, though they weren't that great.
