I've been going to different Americas Best locations since 2010 and I've generally had positive experiences. I had an appointment at this location today and it was exceptional, they were extremely friendly and helpful. For the first time since 2010 I felt I needed a change in contacts and Dr. Mohsin took extra time to help find the right solution for me. The general Manager Erica was also amazing and friendly, I would go out of my way to go to this location the next time I need an eye Dr. because the experience was great!
Waited around over an hour just to get a printout of my prescription after my exam. Don't think I'll
Be coming back here, staff working in the front did not care about the wait times. No apology for the wait. No matter what you have to go through an advisor who upsells you on getting glasses through them.
I had an outstanding experience at America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Store #5496 (256 Illinois Rte 59, Suite 132, Naperville, IL 60540). The level of customer service I received from the entire team was truly exceptional.
From the moment I walked in, Nancy at the reception desk set the tone with her warm welcome, professionalism, and efficiency. She made the check-in process smooth and stress-free, and her kindness immediately put me at ease.
Aarti was equally wonderful. She guided me through selecting my lenses and frames with patience, expertise, and genuine care. She walked me through every detail, helped me understand all my options, and worked hard to get me the best possible price. She also coordinated with Erica when I decided to change one of my frames into my late mother's glasses, making sure every detail was handled correctly. Her support made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free.
I especially want to highlight Erica, whose service went far above and beyond anything I expected. I brought in my late mother's eyeglass frames, which hold deep sentimental value. Erica handled them with such respect and care. She helped me figure out how to place my new prescription lenses into my mother's frames--even upgrading them to a better progressive lens. She walked me through every detail, went through all the available options, and even tried to get me the best price. She ensured the fit was perfect and treated the process with the same importance I felt.
On top of that, when my second pair arrived that same day, I never received a notification. Erica took the initiative to go to the back herself, search for them, and locate them. Her dedication, follow-through, and genuine concern for my experience were remarkable.
I also want to add that I absolutely love my new prescription and my eyeglasses. The clarity, comfort, and quality are outstanding, and I'm truly grateful for the team's expertise in helping me get exactly what I needed.
I was so impressed that I emailed Corporate and also called Customer Care to share this experience, because I felt it was important that this level of service be acknowledged at every level of the company.
This entire team demonstrated exceptional customer service--kind, patient, knowledgeable, and truly committed to helping their customers. They turned what could have been a stressful situation into something smooth, meaningful, and memorable. I am deeply grateful for their professionalism and care.
Highly recommend Store #5496. They represent the company with excellence.
My entire family goes to America's Best for eye exams and glasses, and we have always had a great experience. The prices are very reasonable, and the selection of frames is large enough that everyone finds something they like. Erica is consistently helpful and friendly, and she makes the whole process easy every time. That level of service is exactly why customers keep coming back.
I had such a great experience. Everybody was so nice especially Astro who was checking me out was very helpful and nice.
"I had a very disappointing experience at this Naperville location as a first-time customer.
On 1/27: The doctor was great and helpful. Since I couldn't recall my usual brand, he provided trial lenses (including their house brand) and said if my old brand worked better, to call and they'd order it. The office was extremely busy and understaffed--the manager went on lunch during the rush, leaving one employee overwhelmed. I waited 30 minutes post-exam just to pay and leave with the trials.
On 2/4 (Thursday): I called to say my old brand was better and provided the details. The receptionist seemed to place the order while on the phone and set the trials aside. I picked up 5-day trials within 20 minutes; she assured me they'd call as soon as the order arrived--no mention of paying upfront.
On 2/14: With trials expired (4 days gone by) and no call, I contacted them. After 43 minutes on hold, they couldn't find the order. Manager Erica eventually confirmed notes from 2/5 showed only trials were given no order was actually placed.
I explained I now had no usable contacts due to this error. Erica focused more on identifying the Thursday receptionist (who wasn't there) and her own Thursday absence than resolving my issue. She blamed me for not paying when picking up trials, despite the receptionist never mentioning it and promising a call. When I asked for additional trials or escalation to the doctor, she refused, saying they'd already provided some and citing '10,000 other patients' who need them (direct quote). She claimed the doctor wasn't available (though he had been minutes earlier during hold) and became dismissive, belittling , and unhelpful. The call ended abruptly (she hung up), and when I called back, she answered briefly with rude remarks before hanging up again.
I then called the Wheaton America's Best location. The manager there was immediately understanding, set aside trials, placed the order (even though it wasn't his store's issue), and took full responsibility without any finger-pointing.
Completely different experience.
For the Naperville location- The doctor was professional, but the front desk and manager Erica showed poor communication, no accountability, and unwillingness to help a customer left without vision correction. Avoid this location if possible ; try Wheaton or another branch instead
Manager Erica's response was particularly egregious. Instead of owning the store's clear failure to place the order or offering even basic solutions like bridge trials or a rush on the contacts, she deflected blame entirely onto me (a first-time customer following their staff's instructions), quoted an absurd '10,000 patients' line to justify refusing help, contradicted herself about the doctor's availability, and ultimately escalated to hanging up on me--twice--with rude comments on the second call. Her complete lack of empathy, professionalism, or problem-solving made a simple fix impossible and turned a frustrating mistake into an unacceptable ordeal. Leadership like that sets the tone for the entire location
For Wheaton- THANK YOU.

Erica Wronski was Great! She was very accommodating, helpful, knowledge, swift and provided excellent customer service. She's HIGHLY recommended if your there to assist you with your purchase.
She's DESERVES a RAISE!
Erica was outstanding. I was beyond impressed with how she efficient she was in being able to give me and my daughter the most seamless top knotch experience possible. From helping keep my daughter engaged with the patience of a saint to finding me such a perfect pair of glasses that I plan to get a second pair! She's exemplary at what she does. 10 stars Erica. Give that girl a raise!!
