Dr. Rippel is great! Super friendly and has always gone above and beyond in helping us with any eye, vision issues our family has had.

Great facility and great people. We've been going there for the last 8 years and have never been disappointed.

Dr Ripple was very thorough and did a great job with my difficult prescription! The staff took wonderful care of my husband and myself. I have never had better help picking out frames! I recieved better coverage for my contacts than I usually do as they were deemed medically necessary, no one has ever helped me to get this covered before and my contacts are expensive! I have had two wonderful experiences with them and my husband has been a long time patient! Look no further, this is the place for you!

This was my first time going to Frontier on 02/11/2021. Absolutely amazing service. The ladies at the front desk are the best. Dr. Rippel gave me all of the information that I asked for. He didn't try to sell me things that were not needed, he made sure to let me know what was best for me, he was also very friendly. They constantly cleaned before and after customers came in. I wish I'd known about them years ago! The entire office atmosphere was wonderful, now I'm waiting for my glasses to come in and I can't wait. Thank you so much Frontier.

All of my family goes to Frontier Family Vision because it very nice place with the latest technology and no high pressure sales. Dr Rippel and his staff are very educating,welcoming and comforting. I would recommend them to anybody I know and I wouldn't trust the care of our eyes to anybody else.

Dr. Ripple was extremely helpful, professional, and genuinely concerned regarding the nature of my visit. His insight and knowledge was appreciated and refreshing!

The doctor is extremely pleasant and took his time with my five year old for her kindergarten eye exam. I felt welcome and like he took a genuine interest in being thorough and getting to know us as new patients. For that I would give five stars. I'm not pleased with the receptionist, who lied to me as to price. I called and asked her how much an eye exam cost for incoming kindergarteners and her response was a quick "kindergarten eye exams cost $50". This sounded good to me so I made an appointment. When I went in for my appointment she asked if I would be paying the $50 and I told her I wasn't certain whether or not we had vision coverage, and explained that I had gone to an eye doctor the year prior and they covered my visit. She said no problem we will bill the insurance and see what happens. The doctor himself on the way out said we will take care of that for you and let you know what insurance says. When I received the bill, insurance denied it for no coverage (okay, fine) and frontier billed me $143, and gave me a discount of twenty or so dollars. I called and spoke with the same woman to ask why it wasn't fifty, as we had discussed before I made the appointment and her response, filled with attitude, was it's fifty dollars or bill the insurance and you told me to bill the insurnace because they covered your exam!". I told her no, you told me when I called to schedule the appointment that kindergarten eye exams cost fifty dollars, period, no caveats and that's all. I also told her that when I stood in front of her in person and told her I was unsure if I had coverage, she never told me that if they billed the insurnace the fifty dollars would no longer apply and that if she had, I would have just paid it. She responded angrily with "I'm not going to argue with you and I did tell you. If you pay this right now I'll make it fifty, otherwise it's 143. I told her I would call back to pay, but that she absolutely made no mention of the claim she said and that she only said "kindergarten eye exams cost $50". My mother had also called around for me to help out and get price quotes from different places and she said she told her exactly the same thing and made no mention about whether or not it was billed to insurnace. She is a bold faced liar and was pretty nasty. With prices as high as they are right now for literally everything, I would think she would be a little more understanding with struggling families and honor her own words, rather than lie because she didn't want to admit that she made a mistake. Also, I'm certain that what the fifty dollars applies to is probably for people with no insurance, and as we found out, I do not have coverage for vision, so that fifty should apply to me whether or not they billed it to my insurance. It was denied for no coverage. So why they tried to upcharge me almost a hundred bucks simply because they attempted to bill it is a little concerning to me. I really liked this doctor a lot, but I won't be back here because I cannot deal with rude, hateful, unhelpful individuals who think they can treat people badly just because they have the power to.

Staff is always friendly, efficient and very helpful. Dr. Rippel really wants what is best for the patient and isn't just trying to push new products. Highly recommend!
