Insight Optical, Dr Gail J May, OD

I made an appointment with Dr. May based on a recommendation from a coworker and couldn't have been more pleased! From check in to the exam, everyone was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I was told how much I'd be paying prior to my exam so there were no surprises. Dr. May took her time listening to all of my questions and gave very thorough answers. We worked together to come up with a plan for my care going forward. Although I wasn't there for glasses, they have a huge selection to chose from. Overall, I'd happily recommend this provider to friends and family.

I had an appointment with Dr. May and her staff yesterday. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who appear to love where they work - all smiles and very helpful. They had excellent safety procedures and made me feel like they cared about me from the moment I came in! Dr. May was very through and spent whatever time was necessary to complete my exam. So glad I found this office and I will continue to come back and recommend her to everyone!

We love Insight Optical! Many yrs ago now I was trying to find an optometrist specifically. We shopped around checked a few places out, but none of them were right. So when we came to Insight Optical my spirits were low, but, from the moment I walked through the door, people were buzzing around (this was way pre-pandemic), trying on frames, etc. Someone still greeted me right away, told me to take a seat for a moment and before I knew it I was in Dr. May's chair. Best part is the staff treats their patients like people. I was able to ask Dr. May questions and it seems silly to mention but I lost count on how many times I've been told "everything looks good, so-and-so will help you now..." then I'm ushered off like I'm supposed to not question the optometrist. Hands down Insight Optical is the best! Dr. May, Dr. Reeves, Sandra and staff thank you for everything! You all are truly fantastic! Keep up the amazing job!

I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new eye doctor after nearly 30 years with my previous doctor. Insight Optical did not disappoint! Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I couldn't be happier with the level of service and care. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the nicest place! I don't know how I didn't leave a review yet. I have been going to Insight Optical for many years now. Dr. May is a wonderful doctor. And all the staff here is very pleasant. Definitely the best place for your eye care!!

I previously had an experience that was a misunderstanding. The doctor's office worked with me. Dr Gail reexamined my daughter's eyes and we were able to purchase new glasses. My daughter appeared to enjoy her visit.

Called after hours left a message with all symptoms of detached retina,received no call back it is a serious medical issue, need to be treated quickly. Critical time was lost! They don't care I would not recommend this office. They don't care

Love Dr. May and the staff are always very helpful. I keep returning because the service and glasses are the best!
