Dr. Smith takes plenty of time with each patient, answering each question asked of him. He's very professional and knowledgeable. The staff is very good at explaining pricing and insurance options. As long as I live within an hour of this practice, I'll be a customer.

I have gone to Dr. Smith for my eye care for a long time. I even tracked him down when he moved! I am happy that he has his own office now. The people there are so friendly and helpful, just like Dr. Smith. Also, I am really impressed with the new Optomap technology for checking the retina. You don't have to get dilated any more and the image is much more comprehensive than what you could get in the past! ==== And now it is two years later! I still love Dr. Smith and all the staff! They are knowledgable, friendly, and caring. Anyone looking for an eye doctor should go to Dr. Smith!!!

It is difficult to find a doctor who can prescribe and fit multi-focal rigid gas permeable contact lenses. After I moved to Illinois, I found Dr. Smith, and couldn't be happier. I went to him wearing lenses from various previous visits to other doctors trying to find a combination that worked (because I couldn't find anyone who could prescribe a pair that worked), and still needed to wear reading glasses to see a computer screen or read. Playing softball also became impossible because of my difficulty seeing the ball. Dr. Smith knows how to fit these lenses, and was very patient during the multiple follow-up visits to "tweak" the lenses until I could actually see well near and far! The price of the lenses is expensive, but it is very worth it.

Wonderful! The staff are always very warm and helpful and Dr. Smith is the kind of rare doctor that takes time to get to know his patients.
