The doctors here are good, but the clinic itself is badly organized and deeply, deeply frustrating to deal with. I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment and then stood waiting at check-in while the only receptionist at the desk leisurely chatted with another patient about his insurance. As more and more people lined up behind me, no one acknowledged us. Eventually she casually called over to a second receptionist who had been sitting out of sight behind a wall at the circular desk with her back to the growing line. By the time I was finally checked in, I was already 10 minutes late for my appointment through no fault of my own. When I pointed out that I had been standing there for 10 minutes and was now late, the second receptionist just looked at me blandly and said, "Name?" No apology, no acknowledgment, no basic courtesy. Things only got worse from there. Ninety minutes after my appointment time, I still had not seen my doctor. The entire system seems set up to move patients around like cattle -- waiting room to exam room, back to another waiting room, then more waiting, all for a few minutes with the doctor. The physicians may be very good, but the clinic experience feels impersonal, inefficient, and disrespectful of patients' time.
