What a great team. They are very attentive and friendly. They attend me as soon as I walked in. The gentleman that helped me (sorry I missed his name) was very knowledgeable and kind. I did not feel pressured at all. Dr. Gonzalez was *chefs kiss* he was so patient and genuine. He explained things so clear and took his time. I have seen many optometrist in my life and this was such a great experience. Highly recommend. They are located right next to the target.

first time did exams and etc,spending 300 dollars on glasses,waited and service was nice UNTIL their system stopped working after i try to pay 3 times. i was charged and they told me on their end they didn't get the money. that didn't piss me off just yet,what pissed me off is when i hear they tell me "this happens a lot so you'll get your money back and you can come back and pay" So you're basically telling your first time client that your location has this existing issue has been going on for multiple times and it is WASTING clients' time and you're not seeing any issues with it?no need to maybe work on that stupid device that your company provides?lack of efficiency is a green flag to your company i assume?

The doctor and associates are friendly and very helpful. The doc explains my results in depth and addresses all my concerns and questions. The associates helped me with getting new glasses quickly and efficiently. Everyone knows what they're doing very well!

TLDR: The entire team I encountered was filled with kind and thoughtful professionals. With VSP insurance you get a really good deal and the team is aware of that, and ACTUALLY helps you utilize it. Don't underestimate this eye doctor at the HIP. 10/10 service and can't wait to return for more in years to come. I visited this location for the first time a week ago after not having my eyes checked in two years. I started a new job a year ago and my insurance changed , hence the delay. Booking the appointment was super easy and I received multiple confirmations for my appointment. Upon arrival the staff was helpful attentive and I was seen almost immediately. I remember growing up and having to wait soo long at other well known eye doctors. Dr. Stephan Hanowsky was very kind and friendly and was intentional during the exam but very time efficient. He answered all my questions and even recommended me some new contacts and gave me a free trials to test them out. I didn't end up shopping for glasses that day but I returned yesterday and received the same great customer service. I was greeted once I entered and didn't need an appointment to purchase glasses and contacts. I asked the young lady about a pair of glasses I liked a week ago, and she took her time to look for the frames both on the displays and in their inventory. After not being able to find them in person , she looked online to see if they could be ordered. I looked around for another 30 minutes and then was ready to make my purchase. Donnie was so helpful!!! He was patient and very thorough as I had many questions since this is the first time i've used my VSP Insurance and at Visionworks. We ran through quotes on different options , and I didn't even have to ask - Donnie just offered the best service possible. After a lot of questions on my end and great recommendations on Donnie's, I left with the best deal possible and a pair of new glasses and contacts. Thank you so much to the entire team for a super smooth process!! Can't wait to return for my glasses

The staff, specifically Donny are great. He is so patient and helpful. We would never think of going anywhere else. Dr. Gonzalez is very thorough and caring. This location is by far the best for eye care.

The team at Visionworks in Harlem Irving is amazing. From the moments we walked in the front door until we walked out they greeted us. They took us for the pre-exam explaining everything that they were going to do during our wait to see Dr. Gonzalez they Instructed us to look at glasses in case we needed a prescription. Dr. Gonzalez Was very professional, explaining the procedure to us in English and then for my husband in Spanish. He was very personable and made you feel at home just like. Should be. Very informative, wasn't pushy for buying products. And extremely kind. Was skeptical to go to an eye doctor facility inside of a mall, but now I hate I didn't go sooner. The best experience I've had.
