Best optometrist I've ever worked with. Before seeing them, I didn't realize how much art and nuance goes into optimizing a prescription for daily life that's about way more than just lens strength and image sharpness. They have been totally committed to prescribing lenses that are the right individual fit for me. Their optical shop goes above and beyond in terms of repairs and adjustments. The office is pleasant and nice. A great experience all around.

They won't tell you when your contacts get delivered. You just gotta wait! The least they could do is give a date!
Update: They said it was in transit and would be delivered this past Saturday, they were not. Now they say they are going to be SHIPPED tomorrow. How do you go from telling me they shipped to telling me they didn't? Who runs the communication over there? I would just like an honest up front answer instead of this delay delay delay until it comes in.
This is my second straight issue with this contact. Last time it took 3 months to get and apparantely your company forgot to even order them initially!
So many delays and poor communication. Would it kill ya to at least send a text or email saying you've received my order? Never got that either even though you said I'd have it.

I came in to order prescription sunglasses and was helped by Optician Liz Ele. As we discussed what I was looking for Liz noticed that my regular glasses did not sit properly on my face and asked if she could adjust them for me. She took the m back and worked on them and when she came back, I could see better out of them and I was happier with the pair I walked in with. Liz then gave me good advice about the prescription sunglasses and how they should fit. I have been wearing them for about a month now and they really are perfect for me. I will be back.

Outstanding doctors who really care about your eyes. They are top notch in their field. The staff is friendly, nice, caring, and professional, which seems to be a hard quality to find in staff members these days. The new location is bigger, excellently designed, and built, while still giving that warm friendly feel of the old location. They have both comfy seating and ADA height seating for all types of customers. I have been going to them for over 15 years, because being a diabetic, eyecare is pivotal in ensuring good vision. With The Optometrists of The Northshore's vast knowledge and continued education, they are the only eye doctors I would trust for my diabetic eyecare.

Dr. Henderson has been my optometrist for the past 25 years -- for good reasons. Besides state-of-art instruments, he also adjusts for your "subjective" preferences (the way your brain interprets incoming visual signals). Once he spend more than an hour simply listening to me and then replaced my ($300+) lenses at additional cost! You can not get this level of competence & care from "big box" optometrist. There is never a pressure to sell me anything.
Also, a special shout out to the Optician, Ms. Liz Ele. A truly smart and competent optician.
