Professional Eye Center

I have to admit that i had high hopes for this place before I took my husband to it for new glasses/contacts. We get there early and we have to wait until after our appointment time for no apparent reason. We then go in to the appointment but my husband has forgotten his glasses so they have to start from scratch for a new one. While the eye exam itself was fine it took forever because she went through thousands of combinations for each eye and yet when they gave him a trial pair until he could get his yearly supply of contacts the prescription was way off. I could understand this the first time but then they did it again and gave him a pair that work but it has taken over a month to get in this new set of contacts and they never called to let us know that they had come in. We are picking them up now and the whole process has taken almost two months. We are not going to come back to this doctor ever again because a wait is fine for a few weeks but 2 months is not ok when 1.5 of them are in the wrong contacts.

I first got glasses a year and a half ago. Thinking I should get a routine check up I went here, and what a mistake it was. After the eye exam I was told I needed a change in my prescription, and that it would take 7-10 days for them to come in. As others have reported here they do push hard on sales, but after I made it clear I wanted to keep my frames they gave up. Two weeks later the glasses came back and the prescription was off. Way off. So off I couldn't see. They checked my eyes again and said my eyes had changed. (In two weeks? I think not.) In their defense they didn't charge me for this exam. Again I was told it should take 7-10 days and, two weeks later, I finally got them back. This time the prescription was better but not what it should have been. We tried one more time, and the waiting began. Two weeks later they came back and the prescription was better, but still off, though I couldn't say specifically what right away. I thought maybe it was me and that after six weeks without glasses maybe I just needed to get them used to glasses again. No. After three weeks of using the glasses my eyes were constantly tired, felt strained, and gave me headaches. I finally went someplace else and, in 7 days I had a pair of glasses that were crystal clear ad gave me no problems. The price was cheaper too. I suggest looking for a different eye care provider and avoiding this place at all cost. They obviously don't know what they're doing.
