Multack Eye Care: Dr Sam Multack

I drive 60 miles roundtrip to Multack Eye. I had cataract surgery there and Dr. Jessica Jankiewicz helps manage my glaucoma and other eyecare and answer all of my questions until I understand. Melissa and the other ladies at the front desk make me feel welcome and special when I arrive. I look for consistency, professionalism and compassion in getting the healthcare I need and for me they have gone above and beyond my expectations. Are they perfect? No. But in all my years I have not found any perfect people.

Went to Multack eye care, and the woman at the front desk, Melissa was amazing, she made me feel right at home. I was a little nervous at first since I was visiting from out of state, but she was so warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this facility!

I visited Dr. Multack's office for a complete eye check. Unfortunately, the prescription I was given, was incorrect, and I would have been none the wiser had it not been for vigilant Stephanie at Main Street Optical, in Crete. She pointed out that the new prescription had a problem when compared to the previous one from the University of Illinois Eye Hospital. She offered a no charge visit with their Optometrist who corrected the faulty prescription; I was lucky to have a smart advisor. I will be going back to the Univ. Of Illinois. Dr. Multack depends on all the staff for the different tests. He himself is a lovely, smart man. He needs experienced, dependable staff.

I have had nothing but great experiences at the Multack Eye Care center. I've been professionally treated very well by all staff members. I'm impressed and pleased with the quality of the work that I have received beginning in 2021 to the present. I'm very happy to have been served by this Eye Care center.

By the time I met Dr. Sam Multack, I had already been diagnosed as having 'floaters' for several years, as well as the start of cataracts. He's always been friendly, truthful, straightforward, kind and a good listener. Eventually, I was diagnosed with glaucoma. He has encouraged me to work hard to follow the care plan needed so that I maintain good control of my glaucoma issues. My eye pressure is now under good control. He reviews the signs that I should watch for, even though it has been several years since the situation started (frankly, I appreciate the repetition). I am aware that a few people I know (including a close relative) are his patients. Some have had surgery. All trust and respect him. Like myself, they are glad that he is their vision specialist. The front office staff and technicians are good. When I had a very old cell phone with Little to no activated features, they tried diligently to reach me when an emergency kept Dr. Sam from seeing me. I could see that they were concerned about my time and not reaching me. I was glad to reschedule and thanked them for caring.

Dr Multack is a very good ophthalmologist! If you can tolerate the staff unprofessionalism and as a patient not be allowed freedom to professionally speak and express an opinion. Then this is the place for you. His staff is the reason for the one star. We are so grateful God created more than one very good ophthalmologist and the other have professional employees.

I Love the atmosphere at Multack Eyecare! Dr Sam Multack and staff are very professional! I have gone there for many years. I recently had to change insurance and I searched until I found an insurance that would allow me to continue my Eyecare with The Best....Dr Sam Multack!
