I've been coming here for 4 years for my annual eye checkup. I get glasses or contacts each year. I've found the quality of the eye exam to be typical. The glasses are a bit expensive but are good quality. I've started to buy from an online place instead to save money because my kids break expensive glasses just as easily as cheap ones.

First and foremost staff is amazing so this review is not cause of staff... they are way overpriced even with insurance. Paid 200$ more then if I would of drove to Morris I went there strictly cause it was close to my job. I learned my lesson the hard way. After my warranty is up on these you bet I wont be going back.

Oh my gosh I am gushing over this place. I cannot recommend them enough! Every experience I have had here the staff have gone above and beyond to meet my eye care needs. Thank you so much to the staff at Galley Eye Clinic! You guys rock!

I very recently had cataract surgery. I just wanted to say that my experience with the Gailey Eye Clinic was very very favorable. Dr. Aprahamian did the surgery. He is very professional & experienced. The operations were quick and painless. I followed up with Dr. Koehler who is also very professional, as well as personable. Amy Filipiak is the surgical scheduler. She is easy to reach and always gets right back to you. She is super personable, easy to approach & able to answer any questions. In addition, the women who schedule appointments at the front desk are very friendly. The appointments are quick and the waiting time is minimal. I had a very positive experience with Gailey Clinic and would highly recommend them!

I went to Gailey seeing some bad reviews. I decided to try it anyway. My glasses are great they did a fine job. My low review is due to the price of $1100 for one trip for a pair of trifocals, anti scratch and progressives. The price was way to high for what I received. I have eight people in my family that wear glasses and now will not go there due to the price and I will not go back either. I am sure I will find something more affordable next time at another eye doctor. This review is more for Gailey than anyone. Ottawa is a small town and word will quickly get around about pricing. You may want to reduce your profit margin. I know you have already lost at least 8 potential customers and people like to talk. Have a great day.

Jen France was a fantastic help today (09-30-19). I had issues with my insurance company and she went above and beyond to help me figure out what the issue was, not getting upset or flustered about the situation even once. What a great office to visit! They were all such a huge help!

After about 3 unfavorable exchanges with the optician at the Ottawa office, I am done. I waited two months for glasses because she presumably left a message at a wrong number and never called to follow up. Upon calling to check on status, she copped an attitude with me when I said I never received a message. As if she couldn't have possibly transposed a phone number while dialing. She also told me that if I did not like the transition lenses they would replace them at no charge to me and that it was "risk-free" implying that I would be refunded the cost, but I was not. Today was the last straw. I called to reorder contacts and said that my insurance covers them, however I was not sure what the coverage was, but regardless I needed to order them so I wanted to know the cost out of pocket after billing my insurance. She refused to tell me and said I needed to contact my insurance company. I'm sorry, but do you not have to verify coverage and bill insurance at each transaction anyway? After creating an account with my insurance company and verifying my benefits, I tried to call back for HOURS and was unable to speak with her. Instead, I ordered my contacts from Contacts Direct and actually saved money with a coupon they were offering. Sorry Gailey Eye Clinic, but you have lost my business and my family's because we will not be coming back!
