All staff work together to ensure patients are directed to the appropriate areas for testing and are evaluated by the physician in a timely manner. There is a heavy patient load every day but everyone works together to keep things moving. The staff communicates well with the elderly patients and treats each one with kindness and respect.

Totally impressed! I came for a 2nd opinion. I drove 2 hours one way. When I walk in, I knew I was at the right place. And in good care. And it was prefect care Everyone a certain position they attended well knowledgeable, Listen to my concern. The staff gave me Ritz Carlton treatment. Dr Colin Scott was well I tuned to listen answer all my questions and he had answered all of them. No more going from one eye Dr to another , Wondering If what I was diagnosed is correct. Definitely will be taking my eye concerns there. So Happy I made the drive. Maybe consider something closer to Bloomington, Champaign, Danville area. Excellent service. I saw Dr.Crow at Illinois Eye in Peoria IL this week. Excellent service from check in to check out. Dr. Crow is very efficient and very kind. Always asks if any problems or concerns. And after going over everything with me asks if any questions. My appointment was an annual exam with no problems but I felt she would have taken more time if I did have concerns or questions. I was seen in a very timely manner. This place runs like a well oiled machine. Highly recommended them.

Check in went quickly, was seen promptly, which is fine. Professional and thorough which is why I go exclusively here. Took me over 3 months to get in so don't expect to get an appt. within a week. Very popular place for a reason.

On February 28 2026 I had my annual eye exam at the Illinois Eye Center in Peoria,Il. February 28 this year was on a Saturday, a Saturday appointment was chosen to accommodate my schedule! The check in was quick, the young lady who checked me in was cheerful and pleasant and smiled all the short time it took her to get me checked in. After a few minutes in the waiting area, I was led by a technician who started by taking picture of my eyes then checked the pressure of the eyes before taking me to the exam room.. she was very thorough in her questions about medications, specific questions about my eyes while documenting every answer for the doctor...then she thanked me for choosing the Illinois Eye Center for my eye care, smiled and said the doctor will be in shortly and left the room. Doctor Thomas, who has been my eye doctor for years, came in with her jovial attitude and big smiles. She inquired about my health and the family before she read the technician's notes. As she was comparing these notes with last year(s) notes and exams while asking me a very specific and pointed question, she took more notes..then a very careful and detailed exam followed. A good thing is that doctors Thomas told me that my eyes are good and very healthy with a minor change from last year. Another thing did not change this year, that is the degree of professionalism, respect , and cheerfulness I experienced again at the Illinois Eye Center. Thank you Doctor Thomas, please convey my appreciation to your team and to all the Illinois EyeCenter.

I went with my mom to her appointment to translate for her, and Dr. Clifford was very kind and patient. He spoke clearly, gave us time to translate, and made sure my mom understood everything. He was respectful, professional, and caring throughout the visit. We really appreciated his attitude and support.

extremely knowledgeable staff. but just as important, everyone i interacted with was kind, not just nice, but kind. if you have the option of choosing between clinics and doctors, choose these people. you can find knowledge and skill at many places, but kindness like this doesn't always accompany it. so i would recommend everyone here a thousand times over. thank you.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They answered my questions and provided everything I needed. I am looking forward to my upcoming surgery because I know they will do an excellent job. I definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. Illinois Eye Center is the best.
