Our family has trusted our eyes to Dr Tuel for over 20 years. This office is a wonderful blend of professional experience and cutting edge treatment options. Dr Tuel is honest, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. I have a complex vision issue and he has never steered me wrong with my prescription. Above all, I always feel my voice as a patient is heard when I'm in his office.

Dr. Tuel and his staff is amazing! The minute you walk into the convenient location in downtown Plainfield you are greeted with his professional friendly team. His attention to detail during his exam goes to show how much he cares about his patients and the understanding of the exam. There are a wide selection of glasses to choose from and the assistance from the staff in trying to choose which frame looks good on you was above and beyond my expectation. I have been to many optometrist office in the past but Dr. Tuel''s office by far beat them all. They are very patient with their patients as most know picking the right frame is not an easy process. Lastly, when choosing an eye doctor, as I know now from experience that selecting a private practice sure makes a difference than the chain practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Tuel and wished that I would have found his practice a long time ago.

I would highly recommend Dr Tuel and his staff. I feel it sure makes a difference going to A private practice optometrist like Dr. Tuel who took his time and provided me with a very thorough exam and made me feel very comfortable which often doesn't happen with larger chain businesses. The selection of glasses were great and his staff took their time to help me select the perfect pair. They were awesome!

I've used this business twice. The first time, they gave my daughter a pair of glasses with one of the lenses loose. It took over a week to fix. The second time, they did not bill insurance for my son's eye exam and charged us for the exam. This despite them stating they had all the insurance information needed from my daughter's exam and assuring him everything was fine. I will not be using them a third time. If zero stars were an option, I'd give that.

I've been a patient of Dr Tuel's for 25 years, and he is just as wonderful now as he was when he was first starting his practice. My parents and I were patients of his 25 years ago, and now my husband and daughter see Dr Tuel. I highly recommend this office.

This "doctor" completely got my daughter's prescription wrong! At Dr. Sigler in 2018 my daughter's eyes were +1.50, then in 2019 Dr. Tuel said they were +2.50, but we felt something was really off about the exam! The TV was purposely fuzzy/blurry. Also she felt that she kept being redirected on her responses to the corrections of lenses. Then they wanted us to pay $300 for frames after insurance! So this year my daughter's eyes are "back to" +1.50 with Dr. Sigler.

The experience from the beginning to the end was awesome and smooth. The entire process was very friendly and calm, Jazmin is amazing, I recommend many to get there eyes checked at this clinic

Dr. Tuel has done an excellent job taking care of my eyecare needs and those of my family for many years. I highly recommend Dr. Tuel and his staff at Advanced Family Eyecare in Plainfield.
