I had an appointment for 10am that was confirmed. I arrived early to make sure my insurance information was filled out. At 10:15 I had to ask the receptionist if it would be much longer after having no update or apology for running late at all. She told me it would be about 5 more minutes so I waited and still nothing, so I had to leave without seeing a Doctor. I was also the only person waiting to be seen. Will be going to the Joliet office next time.

I am extremely disappointed with the way this office operates. I scheduled an appointment for my son over a month and a half ago, and they waited until two days before his appointment to tell me they don't accept his insurance. Two days! When I asked them not to cancel the appointment yet so I could try to find alternate arrangements, they told me "okay, but we'll have to charge you if you don't call back within 24 hours." They gave me barely a day's notice, yet expected me to follow a 24-hour cancellation policy for their mistake. Absolutely unacceptable. This is terrible business practice and awful customer service. Now my son is left with no appointment and is almost out of contacts, all because their office failed to verify insurance until the last possible moment. What a shame. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others to be aware of how this office treats patients.

Went here for a visit, friendly staff; however, I have been waiting for three weeks to get my glasses, when they were supposed to be here last week. Very disappointed with the turnaround. I also called for an update earlier in the week with no return call. I had to call again today for an update. Next time, I will just go elsewhere.

highly recommend advanced family eye care they are very professional very polite. Very caring people that work there. Dr. Tuel is great and so are his nurses and receptionist. The whole team deserves five stars I wouldn't go to anybody else except this facility to get my eyes taken care of.

My family has been going to Advanced Family Eyecare for many years. We have always had pleasant experiences with the entire staff. Dr. Tuel is thorough and takes the time to explain everything he is doing. I would recommend this practice!

I Definitely recommend this center as the entire staff is incredibly kind. Dr. Tuel is truly great at what he does. My nervous kiddo was instantly put at ease in the process of an eye exam. He was also made available for an urgent visit for my husband's scratched cornea. We have moved away from Plainfield a few years ago but we still insist on using this office for our eye care needs.

Dr. Tuel and his staff are very thorough! As my mother had macular degeneration and I am diabetic, Dr Tuel is always cognizant of my concerns. I am confident that everything that can be done to preserve my vision is being done at Advanced Family Eyecare!

I loved getting my eye exam at this location. Dr Tuel is a personable and funny guy but also very thorough. The girls at the front desk and the tech are always so friendly and welcoming, they helped with all the insurance questions that I had. They have a great selection of glasses and the optician are super knowledgeable and helpful.
