The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Oppenheim is thorough, professional and has a wonderful sense of humor that puts the patient at ease. Had two surgeries and both went smoothly. I have a very good doctor!

Dr Oppenheim and staff are wonderful. You walk into the office and are greeted by a very friendly front office desk staff. His assistant is wonderful and makes you feel very comfortable. Dr Oppenheim is very thorough, listens to concerns and answers all questions. You definitely feel as though you are in great hands.

I have been going to Dr. Oppenheim for several years. He is very personable and easy to talk. He always keeps me updated on new medications for my eye condition. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for that personal service.

Dr. Oppenheim is superb. I have glaucoma, so go in twice a year for a check-up, but I also bring my kids for their eye exam because I'd rather that be done by an ophthalmologist, not an optometrist. I live in Kansas City, but I am so confident in Dr. Oppenheim that I will not change to a local doctor and make the trip to Illinois.

The experience with the Dr. was perfectly fine, it was the remainder of the office staff that was a horrible experience. This office was on my Vision Insurance site as an in-network provider, but when I called to schedule, the office staff didn't know that they were within my network and wouldn't schedule me. I finally got so frustrated that I called my insurance, who then had to call the office staff to inform her that they were in my network. Then the contact fitting appointment was a real hassle. Showed up on time, was kept waiting, and then told they didn't have time to fit my sons contacts because the person who does that was leaving for the day, and I'd have to reschedule. Needless to say, the staff was incompetent at best, and we will not be back.

I had cateracts in both eyes. Dr. Oppenheim did the surgery on both eyes. Everything went great and it is like I have HD vision now. My husband just found out he has cateracts and we will be using Dr. Oppenheim for his surgery too.

Very bad billing service. I took my daughter for an eye exam in Feb 2014 and I did not receive the bill until October of 2016. I used to have BCBS IL my insurance and VSP my eye insurance but not anymore. How can I follow up with the insurance that do not have now for bill more than two and a half years old ? I do not understand how billing company send a bill that is more than two years old.

I received excellent care with Dr. Oppenheim. His assistant and office personal are very attentive to your needs. I would recommend him if you are searching for a dr.
