Wheaton Eye Clinic of Plainfield

As a child I had a number of painful and traumatic medical procedures that have made getting proper care nearly impossible for me. During a visit to my opromitrist they noted extremely high occular pressure and I was referred to Wheaton eye clinic. Dr. Si was patient and understandind noting my condition was likely not the medical emergency my optomitrist thought and took time to understand and properly diagnose the larger underlying issue. This type of thoughtfulness is rare in today's medical environment. Dr. Si not only showed the highest degree of professionalism and empathy for my past mistreatments, more importantly she worked to find the right solution for my issue. Getting to the bottom of complex medical issues can be challenging and often requires difficult questions and straight talk about options and outcomes. I wish every medical professional I deal with had the knowledge, professionalism and empathy that Dr. Si extended to me in my care and trearment.

Prefer this clinic if you want to get your prescription with a technician not with a MD doctor. Never saw this before in any other clinics. I visited this clinic after waiting 2weeks so I can get my eyes checked with a specialist. But to my surprise technician looked me and gave prescription and waited 30 minutes to get my eyes dilated. I thought I will get my eyes checked with Dr.Reddy. She barely spent 30-40 seconds and says good to go! WOW! She didn't even care to confirm if the technician who confirmed my prescription is right or not. I don't recommend this place or never visiting this place again.

I'm 61 and had cataracts in both eyes. I met with Dr.Si and couldn't be happier with the results. Extremely professional and to the point. She has a confidence like no other and I highly recommend her for your eyes! I will continue to visit Wheaton eye Clinic for my eye needs as long as she is there. Don't take eye sight for granted. I now have 20/20 Thanks Dr.Si!

This 5 Star rating is due to my experience with Dr. Si. I'm 73 and I've never had a better exam. She is definitely a professional. She listens, she explains, she has a great sense of humor, and she puts her patients at ease. Dr. Si is no longer going to be in the Plainfield office, but I am so impressed that I will travel to whichever Wheaton Eye Clinic she is practicing at.

I went to the Wheaton Eye Clinic in Plainfield for evaluation for cataract surgery. I had a very bad experience with Dr Si throughout the visit. She was unprofessional, showed no empathy and had an aggressive tone. She rightfully requested I obtain a report from my previous surgeon and aggressively explained in no uncertain terms that she would cancel my surgery if I did not get it to her in time. My eye is in bad shape and I am in need of surgery so of course I would do everything to provide her what she needs. I left feeling confused and somewhat fearful by her unprovoked anger and aggressive tone. I did speak with a manager about my dissatisfaction with Dr Si. The manager chalked it up to the doctors' style and a personality clash. I don't think being unprofessional, lacking empathy, having a disagreeable and aggressive manner is a style. I won't be returning despite my eye condition becoming more and more urgent.

I had an emergency, squeezed me in seen Dr Sachen very informative, helpful next day seen Dr Vorrin he as well very kind, informative helpful if you have an eye emergency look no further ( no pun intended) this is the place!! Very clean and organized... front desk staff very welcoming!

My mom was mistreated by her doctor- Dr Si, while she was there to discuss surgery. Dr Si was unnecessarily aggressive and upset my mom. Do not recommend! Find another clinic.

Very pleasant doctors and technicians also very thorough. This has always been my experience.
