I had an excellent experience at AccuVision thanks to Rick. He took his time, clearly explained all of my benefits and costs, and made sure I fully understood my options before moving forward. His patience, knowledge, and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated the level of care and service he provided and would highly recommend working with him.

AccuVision Round Lake Beach is great! From check in to check out, it was a good experience. Julie was phenomenal at helping me choose glasses and maximize my vision benefits. She helped me while translating for another client without breaking a sweat. Every location needs a Julie! Front desk is so kind and made me feel welcomed. The doctor was extremely nice and answered all of my questions. I would recommend everyone visit this location!

I waited 2 months for an exam, they never told me over the phone my insurance wasn't covering it. They called me when I was at work the other day and they didn't try to call me the day of the exam (which was in the late afternoon, plenty of time to call again). I wasted money on ubers for there and back because of it. They really need to try and get a hold of the client or tell them when I called months ago to make the appointment. I would have never made the appointment in the first place. Edit: They should have told me when I made the appointment my insurance wouldn't cover it (it did, they were wrong). I worked all day the day they tried to call one time. They didn't try to call the day of the appointment, which they should if they don't hear back from the person. To their reply, again, I should have been told when making the appointment, not the day before 2 months later. My insurance did actually cover it. They were wrong, so that's why they "worked with me". So they wasted my time, money and gave me stress for nothing. They didn't share the correct information with me. I had to call them, my insurance back and forth. Someone there told me only people 18 and under can get a new prescription and it would be the same exact prescription as before (my eyes have gotten worse and needed new glasses or contacts). I called my insurance and they said none of that is true and they don't know where they got that information from. I don't know how they consult with insurance to see who is covered or not, but they did not do their job and made me waste my time and money on something that could have been avoided. They also told me my plan doesn't cover contact and again it does. If the doctor thinks your condition would be better with contacts. The doctor told me mine would be, but because the office people told me my plan doesn't cover it at all, now I probably can't talk to the doctor about it without having to pay. The people there act very kind, but there is something going on where they don't understand people's insurance. When you only get one office visit a year, they should be able to inform you of what is covered correctly. I was going to change this review to a 3, because of how kind Rick and Q are. Sadly this condescending reply with no accountability to their wrong of wasting my time from not telling me the truth of my plan, I'm leaving it a 1. Edit again, because they only want to communicate through edits in a review. There was NO misinformation in my edit. They are just straight up lying about that. They are the ones who were misinformed. They need to work on their communication with people's insurance, because something is not working in their systems. When I was talking to my insurance about this, they said this shouldn't have happened with all this back and forth stuff. She laughed at how ridiculous it was when I told her someone there told me it would be the same prescription and I have to be under 18 to get new glasses. So was that not misinformation, they claim they haven't said anything incorrect to me. This place takes no accountability and I wouldn't recommend it if you are going in thinking they will give you accurate information about your coverage. This could have all been easily cleared with a genuine apology, but they do not take responsibility and only communicate through edits. They also told me I can test my glasses for a month, which I just called to double check and now it's two months. No one is on the same page there sadly and this just proves my point further.

I recently had an appointment at Accuvision, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very efficient. The eye exam was thorough, and everything was explained clearly so I understood each step of the process. I really appreciated the doctor's patience in answering my questions and helping me understand my prescription. Overall, the visit was smooth, comfortable, and very professional. Highly recommend Accuvision for anyone needing quality eye care.

There is a young guy, I think his name is Edward, not sure, he has black hair and wears glasses. He should not be working with customers. He does not listen and talks at me, not with me. If it were not for my patience and asking to work with another associate this store would have lost my business the other day. Cynthia is the associate that I worked with, she is great, she actually listens to the customer and does not have an attitude. I will go to this location again, but will never deal with the terrible associate I have mentioned.

The Accuvision in round lake was a good experience for having my eye exam and choosing different styles in glasses was a smooth operation. Thanks to Rick and his team being so kind to understand the process of helping me with choosing my new glasses and helping feel amazing with the recommendations on the glasses .

I used to come to this Accuvision location when my kids were younger. For the past 5 years I've been trying other places, but I ended up coming back. Each time I purchased glasses from this Accuvision location, not only was the service wonderful, but the quality of my glasses were impeccable! I'm so glad to be back with them.

AccuVISION employees are very nice, professional and has a reliable service. They make you feel comfortable and are very helpful at helping you get what you are looking for in eye wear.
