I cannot recommend Dr. Barry and the team at Chittick Eye Care in Savoy enough. I recently had the EVO ICL surgery, and the entire experience was world-class. From the moment I walked in, the staff was amazing--personable, professional, and genuinely excited to see my results.
The surgery itself was incredibly fast; I was in and out of the chair in about 15-20 minutes and didn't feel a single thing. It's rare to find a medical team that makes you feel this well-cared for. If you're nervous about eye surgery, this is the place to go. My only regret is not doing it sooner!

The doctor, nurses and staff at Chittick Surgery Center were outstanding! I went in for cataract removal and lens replacement on both eyes (Surgery was a week apart) and it couldn't have been smoother. I went in a little apprehensive because it was my eyes. But it was literally pain-free and I was in and out in a little over an hour each time. If you need cataract removal, with or without the lens replacement Chitticks is the place to go.

I had a shoulder surgery, and when I woke up from my anesthesia, my left eye was blurry. Went to Chittick, and they found that I had formed a cataract in it. I was already on leave from work, and the surgery center was able to find me an open spot, which was fantastic. The surgery was quick, painless, and I was out the door in less than an hour. The staff is really nice, and the facilities are upscale and comfortable. Would recommend if you are needing eye care.

I had a really nice experience with Chitticks. They treated me with kindness and respect. I would recommend them 100 percent. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Dr Barry is a kind and patient individual who is very considerate. I really appreciate how Dr Barry and his team assisted me during the procedure due to me having a high level of phobias and considering I couldn't take any medications to help me relax more. I appreciate the over all experience from the time I walked in the door to the time I left. Thank you to the Chittick staff and Doctors. Also the follow up doctor was amazing as well.

Had posterior subcapsular cataracts. Key word, HAD. Dr Barry and his team are phenomenal! I was so anxious having anyone touch my eyes. I'm "young" in comparison to a majority of their clients, and the thought of something going wrong and losing my eyesight so young freaked me out. They all assured me things would be great, and talked me through it all. Dr Barry is wonderful!!!! Overall, absolutely stellar job, from front desk staff, to assistants, to doctors! 100% recommend!
